Saving Jeans

"Wake up, bitch," Frank says shaking me pulling me out of my peaceful sleep.
"No, dick, lemme sleep," I groan hitting him in the face with a pillow. If you couldn't tell my grandma doesn't mind us cussing seeing as she has a trucker mouth like no other. After a few minutes he gave up on shaking me and as I was in the middle of my sigh of relief I felt myself being peeled out of my warm blankets and pulled off of my comfortable bed.
"Jeans Lacey Walker we have school today we must get up," he cockily replies from my early groan.
"Frank Anthony Iero Jr. put me down this instant," I demand dangling from his shoulder.
"Sorry my mom, but I won't put you down this instant because this isn't the 1980s anymore, but I will put you down now," he chucklesdropping me on my bed. No, I don't me just putting me down three inches above the mattress, I mean he just full on dropped me, not lightly at all.
"Really Frank? Really?"
"If this didn't wake you up, I was going to get ice cold water and see if you'd melt," he says in a 'I'm serious, I would've' tone. "K, you've got twenty minutes, get ya skinny ass up and get ready," he was trying to be sassy by putting his hands on his hips and pretending to smack on fake gum but all he looked like was gayer than usual,
"And you wonder why you get called 'gay as fuck' because there's one reason," I laugh in a joking tone which he did laugh a little, knowing how stupid he looked. I get off of my bed and ask: "Pick out my nose ring?"
"Sure," he says slapping my ass as encouragement to go get ready.

I go to my dresser and open the drawer, tossing the little black, squared box that had all my nose rings in it over to Frank before pulling out my outfit for the day. A simple plan shirt, white skinny jeans with black rips, and black worn out converse, along with my lucky black beanie. Frank hands me the nose ring he picked out before I head to the bathroom. It's not like he hasn't seen me change (accidentally walked in) but I'm VERY self-conscious and he knows that.

I slip on my white (worn once before) nose ring, flip on my curling iron. and start getting ready. After I have all my clothes on, I tame my barely tamable hair, and decide fuck it, I'm too lazy to do anything with it. I pull on my beanie and walk back in my room (after turning off my curling iron first.)
"Ok. Lets go," I tell him slipping my backpack on my shoulder and my phone in my back pocket. Frank puts his arm around my shoulders like usual and says:
"Let's go to hell."
"But we're already heading to hell. Is there two hells?" I ask sarcastically.
"Yes. Yes, there is."

As we pull up to the driveway I have a sense that there's something wrong. I get out of the car, slamming its door behind me, and running up the few front steps forgetting how awful school was like always. I open the door and see my worse nightmare becoming true.
"GRANDMA!" I screech kneeling beside her barley breathing body laying at the end of the staircase and pulling her up to where I'm cradling her head in my lap, crying: "Please wake up! I can't lose you too! FRANK CALL 911!"
