Throughout this fan fiction I have tried to remain as factually accurate to world war two as possible with dates, however I have come across a small problem; for the next eight months nothing happens. This time period was known as the 'Phoney War' because although Britain was at war with Germany, they took no military action. For the story to develop the squad has to see action therefore I'm going to bring the war eight months forward because there is nothing I can write about within those eight months and if I just time lapsed it questions would be raised about the frerard relationship amongst other things- basically I can't have eight months without a problem arising or confrontation. So concluding all this, the dates will no longer be factually correct.
If anyone has any other suitable ideas about how to get around this I'd be really grateful to hear them.
Sorry about all of this but as promised before, the next chapter will still be uploaded today.
