Suicide Note

August 13th, I was 15 and it was exactly two months after my birthday, I still regret this day. I must admit I hate the ending of this, but it started with an alright scene.

I arrive at school with the usual bullshit being thrown at me, I mean I know I am worthless. You don't have to remind me every day. "Hey Natalie!" Gerard yells, and I look at him through my newly dyed hair, I've gone with a purple and green, I will most likely change it sooner or later. Gerard and I don't really hang out that much anymore, he still talks to me and we hang out sometimes. But Gee is a popular kid now, he has girls chasing after him and I'm still that outcast with no dad and a drunken mother. He comes over to me smiling, I understand why girls want him. Gerard is rather good looking. "Meet me in the spot after break, okay?" He says and I nod, before he runs off to his other friends.

-(time lapse)-

I wait in mine and Gerard's secret place, it's basically in an abandoned house near the school, we discovered it when I was 13, "hey Nat." Gerard says smiling, he is adorable when he smiles and I can't help but return it, although you can't really see it, "so why did you want to see me Gee?" I ask and he bites his lower lip, "uh, um, you see N-Nat I have really liked you for a r-really long time." He stutters and I can't help but giggle. "Ha, uh, what I'm trying to say is, Natalie would you be my girlfriend."

What should I say, yeah I've liked Gerard for a really long time but he could go with someone better, "are you sure that you want to date someone like me Gee?" I ask and he looks straight into my eyes, "why wouldn't I want to date you Nat? You're smart, beautiful and you haven't changed at all since I met you." He says coming closer to me and brushing the hair out of my face. I smile, "that's something I haven't seen in a long time, so will you Nat?" He says and I nod.

Why I regret that day you ask? Well on that day I gave my heart to the person who I thought I could trust, but of course he ripped it into shreds and broke my trust. When I was 16 Gerard turned into the type of person I wouldn't want myself ever to be with.
