The Hardest Part Is Letting Go Of Your Dreams

Frank and I lay side by side until we catch our breath again, my eyes fluttering shut and I'm just on the edge of sleep when I feel my legs being pulled apart before my balls are engulfed by a warm wet pressure. I add bubbles for her and by the time it's done Ruby has quietened down and is just clinging to my chest, her head resting on my shoulder letting out quite little hiccups. I turn the water off and bring my hand to her back, gently rubbing and shushing her. "Come on baby bath time." I tell her and she shakes her head and sobs out "No want daddy" starting to cry again. "Shh Shh baby it's ok." I whisper in her ear, pressing soft kisses to her hair. Her sobs die down again and I say "Come on baby" standing her infront of me and taking her pyjamas off, throwing them into the hamper. "Daddy" she whines out, holding her arms out to me again and when I pick her up she clings to me again, her little legs wrapping around me too. "Shh Rubes I'm right here." I tell her as I step into the bath, keeping my boxers on, and sitting down in the soapy water, Ruby in my lap. We sit in the water, Ruby slumping against my chest with her head on my shoulder and I grab the wash cloth, dipping it in the water and gently washing her as much as I can. A minute later Frank comes in and smiles when he sees us in the bath together, walking over and kneeling beside the tub. "Hey Rubes" he says softly, Ruby snuggling further into my chest. "Daddy" she coos out softly. Frank reaches out and grabs her favourite rubber duck from the shelf and gently pushes it through the water towards us before pulling it out and making it kiss Ruby on the cheek. She giggles and pushes her face further into my chest before reaching out and taking the duck, making it kiss Frank. After that she perks up a bit and turns around in my lap, playing with her duck while Frank grabs the other one. They play for a few minutes before Ruby lets out a yawn and I say "Ok Rubes time to hop out now." She nods her head before dropping the duck and turning back around, clinging to me again so I stand up, picking her up with me and stepping out onto the bath mat. Frank hands me a towel and I wrap it around Ruby's back before kneeling down and standing her infront of me, drying her off before Frank hands me some dry pyjamas for her. Once she's dressed I say "You need to go to the toilet baby?" And she shakes her head. I lean in and kiss her forehead before saying "Ok go with daddy now" spotting clean pyjamas for myself sitting on the bench. I send a thankful smile to Frank as Ruby says "No want daddy" and steps towards me again. "I know Rubes but daddy will be two seconds ok. I'm still wet and I need to get in my pyjamas too. I'll be right there, daddy will be with you." She shakes her head and I shoot Frank a look so he comes over and picks her up, Ruby starting to cry again as he carries her from the room. I quickly dry off and pull on the pyjama pants as I hear Ruby's cries turn to screams and I rush out of the bathroom, Ruby throwing herself out of Franks arms in an attempt to get to me. I rush over and catch her, cuddling her to my chest as she buries her face in my neck. "Shh baby" I croon, rubbing her back and she slowly quietens down again. I look over to Frank wondering what to do and he leans over and whispers in my ear "Don't worry she'll be ok." I lean over and press my lips to his, Frank immediately kissing back. "I love you" I whisper and he smiles wide and whispers "I love you more." I poke my tongue out at him and he smiles wider. I carry Ruby back to her room, her mostly asleep against my shoulder and as I go to lay her in her freshly made bed she squeals and clings tighter to me. I sigh and stand back up, carrying her from the room and see Frank waiting for me in the hallway. "We have a bed buddy for the night" I tell him and he nods before walking into the bedroom with me. I stand to the side with Ruby fast falling asleep in my arms while Frank cleans up the bed, putting a clean sheet on it and packing away the lube and vibrator before I climb in with Ruby, resting her on my chest. Just as her breathing evens out Frank climbs into bed next to us and slides over, pressing himself against my side and resting his head on my shoulder. "Love you" he whispers and I whisper "Love you too baby. By the way we will be continuing on from earlier later." Frank chuckles softly saying "I sure hope so" before leaning in and kissing me. I kiss back and we share soft slow kisses, just lips and tongues touching before he pulls away and rests back on my shoulder, his arm wrapping around me and Ruby before we both drift to sleep, cuddling as a family.
