Days Gone By

Frank wandered through the winding corridors of the hotel, the smell of damp hung in as water dripped from a large damp patch in the corner of the ceiling; forming a small puddle on the red carpet. He kept his fingers wrapped tightly around the gun in his hand as he glanced cautiously up and down the corridor; moving swiftly as he continued to search for Lindsey. He never liked that woman. In fact, he could say that he hated her with all his heart. Yet despite this, he couldnt help but feel that something was wrong.

Something wasn’t right about this.

His heart raced in his chest as he continued up the corridor, listening out for anyone who could be close by. The third floor was completly silent. Nothing could be heard except for the droplets water which continued to drip from the ceiling. He scouled at them, rubbing the back of his head with his hand as he continued to walk. “Lindsey I don’t have time for your shit, will you please come out” He called out, aiming the gun in front of him as he spoke.

Silence.

“For fuck sake” He muttered, slowly growing impatient as he quickly turned the corner and slowly made his way past the black doors of the hotel rooms. Frank stopped in the centre of the corridor, sighing heavily to himself as he found himself at a dead end. He lowered his gun, rolling his eyes as he begrudgingly turned to walk away.

“You know you wanted this”

Frank spun round, his eyes narrowing as he heard the all too familiar voice come from the room at the end of the corridor. He crept towards the room, slowly raising the gun as he edged closer to the door. A moan of pleasure echoed from inside the room, sending a wave of nerves over him as he stood face on with the black door to the room.

He grabbed hold of the door handle, staring down at the floor as he readied himself, prepairing himself for what they were doing in that room. Maybe she was in there alone, not that he was at all interested as to what she was doing in there, but the fact that he had finally found meant that he didnt need to waste anymore time searching for that miserable cow.Sadness stung in his eyes as he wrestled with his conscience. Frank swallowed hard as he tried to hold back the tears; he knew Gerard must have found her. He couldnt just walk in there and see them... together like that; it hurt too much just to see her cuddle up to him in the camp, let alone see Gerard, the man he loved, the man who told him time and time again that he would leave her, that he would always put him first and that one day they could finally be together, sleep with that dirty whore of a girlfriend.

Frank pressed his head against the frame of the door, listening to Lindsey moaning inside. He couldn’t face it. He couldn’t face him like this. He could always tell the group that he couldn’t find her, that maybe she’d be back before they left. Maybe they could actually leave her here and then he and Gerard could finally get on with their lives. Frank smiled at that thought, all he wanted was for them to be happy together.

He knew they never would be while she was still alive.

While she carried his baby.

His smile slowly faded as his mind slowly came to the realisation that this was all just a pipe dream. Gerard would never leave her. In fact, he was probably in there right now, kissing her and fucking her like she was something special; like she meant something to him. Frank sniffed, slipping his hand away from the door handle as he slowly walked away from the room...

And perhaps his final chance of happiness.
