It's a not so secret, secret

"I'm not going to therapy for my epilepsy again. There's no point. Therapists can't cure seizures guys." I said seriously.

"Nathan I normally let you pick if you want to see your doctor and when but this is just one of those times where it's not your decision." Dad said.

"At least it's not one on one therapy...that's a bit better right?" Gee asked me hopefully.

"Wait..not one on one?" I questioned. "Fuck! This is one of those support groups again isn't it!" I groaned.
"I don't want to meet other people with completely different issues for no reason and there's nothing that can come out of this except me being mad."

"I guess we'll deal your anger later but as of right now you have three seconds to get your ass out of this car and go inside. We'll check you in but after that all you have to do is just fucking sit there and at least try to listen. I think meeting other kids will help you Nathan." Dad said.

I huffed at him but got out and they both followed me into the lobby of the building.
After checking me in they both hugged and kissed me goodbye and said they'd be here as soon as it was over.
"Be good Nate." Gee called and I just nodded at him.

i looked around at the kids all sat in a circle around me and tried to figure out what was wrong with each person. No one else had a medical alert bracelet or necklace from what I could see so apparently none of them were slow or had any disabilities, probably just a bunch of kids with random problems.

They instructor of the class ( Mr. Logan ) walked in all smiley and greeted everyone then sat down and took roll of who was there.

he then said there were two new kids today which one obviously was me but I didn't know who the other kid was, and according to Mr. Logan he wasn't allowed to tell anyone your name unless you agreed to it, which I guess for some of these kids made them feel more comfortable.

"okay your up." He said to a kid with long black fluffy but spiked hair and green eyes. The kid looked older than me by a pretty decent amount but not older than dad or gee maybe the same as them.

"No name please, and uh yea I'm here because I hurt someone a while ago and ran into him recently which made me feel like shit...I also got caught in what I did but didn't end up going to jail just trial..."

"Okay well good for you now another new one." He said smiling at me.

"My names Nathan or Nate and my dads dragged me here because I have epilepsy and apparently no friends."

"Dads?" The kid who had just spoken asked.

"yea my dad and gee my other dad, is that a problem?" I asked getting defensive.

"No no it's cool but why is one dad and one gee?"

"It's easier than calling them both dad because it gets way to confusing and the one I call dad is biological." I answered staring at the kid daring him to say anything.

He just smirked at me and nodded. Then he mouthed 'see me after' and went back to listening to whatever kid was speaking now.

I met up with the kid in the lobby and he took my arm. He began writing his number and told me to call him or text him later and that maybe we could hang out.

I nodded and went to the car where dad and dad were waiting.
"Make any new friends Nathan?" Dad asked hopefully.

"Nope."

"Nate I'm sorry." Gee said giving me a sympathetic glance.

"Yea so am I." I said sounding sad but really I just wanted to get home so I could text the new mysterious kid.
