I'm Okay Now

Katy's pov**
It was really nice meeting the rest of Gerard and Mikey's friends. They were all extremely nice and we shared a lot of laughs. Gerard started to ease as he noticed that me and frank were not awkward around each other. Right now we are standing around the kitchen hovering the island from both sides and having long conversations about music and a random conversation about who knows what that got everyone in a ball of laughter. Everyone was having a great time, however Alicia was not around. Last time I saw her she was heading upstairs and she looked kinda sick and mad if you ask me. Her face was vary pale and it looked like she was struggling to get a hold of herself. Knowing Alicia, the last thing that she wants is to be around people when she is in a shitty mood, so I let her slide by. I know I should have checked on her but last time I did I ended up with getting a door slammed in my face. Not a pleasant experience. I continued to joke around with the boys and they all seemed to be having a great time as well. Sadly I have no talent in music so I wasn't able to talk guitars, and drums with everyone, but we all had similar music taste so I fit well with the general conversation. Everything seemed to be going smooth until the topic of me came up.
"So I heard that you're only seventeen?" Bob asked me as he took another sip of his beer that never left his hand all day. We were all standing in the kitchen and most of the guys had a bottle of beer in their hands, other than Gerard and Mikey.
"Yep! I'm turning 18 in a month!"
"Ah Gerard! I see you're going for the younger ladies now! That's a first!" Frank cut in with a smirk spread all over his face.
"Oh shut up!" Gerard snatched back that sent everyone into complete laughter.
"But seriously Katy, does the age difference bother you?"
"Bob you don't just ask those kind of questions!" Ray yelled at him before I had the chance to reply. Throughout my entire relationship with Gerard, I never really thought about our ages. I have always known that he was six years older than me and when I found that out, I was shocked, but i completely forgot about it.
"Like, I don't really think about it." I answered. I don't like that there is a rather large age gap between us, but that doesn't change anything that I feel for him.
"Wow" spoke ray, out of shock.
"Just between you and me" even though everyone was listening and frank was talking loud enough for everyone to hear, he still continued. "Gerard doesn't date younger girls"
"what do you mean?" I instantly asked, wanting to jump to the conclusion.
"Well..." Frank glanced up at Gerard who didn't have a happy look on his face before continuing his sentence. "I mean you're the first girl Gerard has dated who's younger than him"
"Frank can we not" Gerard said in a rushed voice. Something about him seemed to make him uneasy all of a sudden. Was this a sensitive topic to him?
"Gerard... Are you okay?" All eyes where on Gerard who kept his on the white tile floor. I closed the distance between us and wrapped my arms around his waist in hopes of making him feel better. I have never been good at cheering people up, but I will always be open for a hug.
"Nah it's fine" he said as if nothing has happened, and wrapped his arm around my neck, returning the side hug.
"Anyways.." Frank continued, trying to ignore what happened. "Kat, is Gerard your first boyfriend?"
"Umm..." Suddenly all the flashbacks of Ian came swarming into my head all at once. I shook it off, not wanting to cause a scene, and brought myself back to the question. "Well no actually."
"Really!?" He gasped. "How old were you?"
"Frank." Gerard said, signaling over to me as he tried to talk with his eyes to frank. After I told him my past with Ian, he's been real careful about bringing up any topics that might trigger flashbacks to my horrible past. I thought I was doing a good job at covering what was going threw my head, but gee knows me too well for that.
"Oh my got Katy! I'm so sorry!" Frank gasped, instantly catching on.
"No it's fine" I assured him "how could you have known"
"Okay I'm really bad at this whole question game"
"Yea" ray agreed. "How about we all go out for a smoke. I think we all need one right now."
"Seems right" replied bob.
"Katy, Michael, you guys wait in here" Gerard ordered as he removed himself from my grasp.
"And what, I can't come?" I complained.
"I love you, both of you guys" he said signaling over to Mikey who wasn't standing more than three feet away from me "way to much to let you guys do sometime as stupid as smoking" and with that and a peck on the lips later, he went out the back door with his friends.
"Well what do we do now?" Mikey asked me once they were all outside.
"Actually, I saw Alicia go upstairs not 10 minutes ago. She looked kinda sick. You should go check on her" I reported to him as I jumped up and took my usually seat on the counter.
"So that's where she went! Okay thanks for telling me. Wanna come with?" Mikey is one of the sweetest guys I have ever met, however he isn't good at seeing what a woman is thinking. Well it is impossible to mind read, but I mean some guys can read body language and tell what a girl is feeling. It's just that Mikey is not one of those guys. I gave him a nod in reply, than jumped of the counter to go follow him upstairs determined to find out what made Alicia in such a shitty mood.
I walked up the woodent stairs and followed Mikey into his room, where we found Alicia lying down on the bed looking up at the ceiling.
"Hey Alicia" I said "you looked sick earlier on. Is everything alright?"
"Umm yea I think so.. Just a headache I guess." She gave me that look. The look when she is hiding something but doesn't know what to do about it, it was easy to tell. She is horrible when it comes to keeping secrets, especially her own.
"U-uh do you want anything to help with the headache?" Mikey asked her as he took a seat at the edge of his bed right next to Alicia who looked almost scared if not worried, and started stroking her blond and pink hair.
"N-no it's fine, thanks tho. It's starting to pass" she glanced over at me not knowing what els to say "I'll be down soon"
"Kay. I love you" Mikey replied as he got up from the unmade bed and started walking towards the wooden door then stopped short, waiting for me to follow him.
"Umm Mikey..can I talk to Alicia alone?" I asked.
"Well why can't I hear it?" He whined like a five year old.
"Girl problems, Mikey" I said as I shoved him the rest of the way out the door. Thank goodness for that excuse, it can literally get me out of any situation.
"Love you!" I yelled over to Mikey who stands between me and the wooden wall.
"Bitch" he said with a laugh. I made sure I could here his footsteps walking further away before I turned over to Alicia.
"Spill" I demanded the instant I knew we were alone.
"Shit Kate. I really fucked up this time"

WHAT ONLY ONE COMMENT FROM THE PAST EIGHT DAYS!?!? I'm not posting another chapter until this story has five new comments!!!!
I really hate to do this to you guys but I really need motivation and getting comments only from the same people is not motivating at all. I haven't even gotten to the actual conflict in the story and it would be a shame if you guys never found out what it's about.

I'm leaving tomorrow for camp for a week. I have some chapters pre written and I'll post as soon as I get home just as long as my story has five new comments.
