Cancer

(Miracle's POV)
Well that's a fucking good reason to be in this shithole. I cast a glance at Frankie who had an arm carefully draped across Mikey's shoulders. Mikey was now sobbing hysterically when fucking Dr. La De Da made his way in with a grim look on his face.

It actually caused me physical pain not to punch him in his fucking face.

"Frank, Michael. We're doing all we can but..." He fucking trailed off with a sigh.

"Doctor, what is it!?" Frankie asked like some soap opera character. The doctor inhaled deeply but I interrupted him.

"Oh cut the fucking crap and tell us what the fuck is going on. Now, pretty boy." I growled. He grinned at me, pushing curly-cue hair out of his eyes. He had an afro, and bright eyes. He smiled a little.

"Miracle, happy as usual I see?" He muttered. I rolled my eyes.

"You wanna see happy?" I murmured in response. He smirked, rolling his eyes. Then, he turned back to Frankie and Mikey with a slight frown.

"Your friend is incredibly ill, on death's door. It'll take a miracle to keep him alive. Boys, I'm so sorry. The police were wondering if you wanted to press charges?" The doctor asked, but they were two busy drowning in their own tears. I turned to him with a snarl.

"Come back later. Do his parents know?" I asked with a frown. The doctor looked at me with a bigger frown.

"They fled." He muttered, and disappeared down the hall, his big hair following. I turned to my two new and only friends and wrapped my little arms around them. There was nothing to say, I knew they just needed warmth and people's presence right now. Loss was something you could never recover from.

*Time Lapse*

We were allowed to visit the dying Gerard. I opted to walk with the two of them, holding their hands for both my sake and theirs. We silently made our way down the bustling halls of the hospital, and I led them to the room he was in.

The heart monitor was rolling on... "Beep. Beep. Beep." It repeated over and over. Good, but incredibly annoying. We walked in and saw a boy, with short, dark hair. He was sickly thin, and his body was decorated with bruises and cuts and bandages like a tattoo addict is covered in tattoos.

For but a moment, we stood there and looked on. Mikey suddenly burst though.

"WAKE THE FUCK UP! DON'T YOU FUCKING LEAVE ME! DON'T YOU FUCKING LEAVE ME!" Mikey screamed, pounding on the boy, Gerard's, chest with anger and enthusiasm. Frank wrapped his arm's around Mikey's little waist, but Frankie's sorrow was no match for Mikey's hysteria.

Doctor's and nurses spilled in, headed by doctor fro-head. They attempted to pry Mikey off of Gerard, and eventually had to drug him to calm him down. He fainted in Frankie's arms, who was about to cry again.

Frankie carried him to my room and we rested him on my bed. I sat on a chair and Frankie sat on the bed as well, pushing stray strands of hair out of Mikey's face. I was tired from all that walking. Frankie looked up at me.

"Miracle, you would've loved Gerard. He's amazing." Frankie whispered with a ghost of a grin on his lips. I looked into his sad eyes.

"I will love him Frankie. When he wakes up." I reassured the boy. He grinned down at me, his eyes brimming with tears, before he curled up next to Mikey.

"Miracle, thank you for fucking saving us like that." He muttered. "Fucking Gerard." He whimpered. I nodded my head.

"I can't wait to meet him. It'll be love at first sight." I joked and Frankie grinned.

"I bet..." He fell into unconsciousness, and I felt myself sinking deep into it as well, thinking about that broken boy in the stark white hospital room.
