I don't feel like I'm strong enough
8
Later that night, I tried talking to my mom about going to public school. She eventually told me I couldn't go, and that I needed to stop acting like i had control of my own life. We argued for a while, then I decided to just drop it since it obviously wasn't going to happen.
After our argument, I went into my room and called Gerard.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Hey Gerard"
"Hey Frankie what's up?"
"I just got done talking to my mom about going to school with you."
"and?"
"Ugh, she said no. She never lets me make my own decisions."
"Hey, it's alright. We can still hang out after school, right?"
"Yeah I guess so."
"Ok good, well I have to go, Frankie. Mom doesn't like phones at the dinner table."
I giggled a little bit, then replied "Ok, bye Gee."
"Bye." He said and I heard the phone click.
I couldn't wipe the dopey smile off of my face. Everytime I talked to Gerard, it just made me feel stronger for him.
Then it smacked me in the face.
I might be falling for Gerard. Falling hard.
