I don't feel like I'm strong enough

When I woke up in the morning, I heard my phone start ringing. I sat up and picked it up. I looked and saw that it was Gerard.
'Hello?' I asked into the phone.

'Good morning Frankie,It's Gerard.'

'I know, Gee. I have caller I.D. So what's up?' I asked him.
'Just getting ready for school. I have to get dressed and such.' He replied. I nodded my head even though he can;t see me.
'How come you don't have to get ready for school, Frank?' He asked me and I froze. I didn't him to know that my mom was too stuck up to let me go to public school. 'I'm homeschooled.' I replied with. I heard him mumble something then say 'hmm.'
We talked for a while before he had to leave for school.
I decided I would speak with my mother about going to public school.
