“Kasey!” Andy said and then tried to run over to hug me, I took a big step away from him and he stopped mid step and looked down.

“Kasey,” He said softly then his eyes started to wander my body but stopped at my wrist, he looked from me to my wrist a few times then clenched his fist and closed his eyes. “I am so sorry, I should have let go when you asked me to-”

“No,” I interrupted, “You should have never grabbed me in the first place.” I said rather harshly.

“I know. I know, you’re right. Can you please come in?” He asked and opened the door wider, “We need to talk.”

“We do need to talk.” I agreed, “But in a open space.”

“Okay.” He said then closed the door behind him and walked forward. “There’s a park not too far from here, we could take my car-”

“No.”

“Or we could walk.”

“I’d rather walk no offence.”

He nodded and we started to walk to the park. The entire walk was silent; none of us spoke to one another. Also, I made sure to keep a gap in-between us; I was almost walking on the street. I think Andy knew I was going o break up with him because the entire walk he had his head down and he just looked like a sad puppy, it made me feel really bad about what I was gonna do.

When we had gotten to the park, we took a seat down at one of the benches and sat there for a while without any words in-between us. Until he spoke:


“Look Kasey, I know you will probably never forgive me but I had no intention of-”

“Intention? What would have happened if Ashley hadn’t gotten there when he did? Would you have beaten me until you got some answers? Or worse?”

“I know, I fucked up really bad, I am just so in love with you it hurts that you don’t love me back as much.”

“So you hurt me? Is that what you’re going to do to any girl that doesn’t love you back as much? Andy I did love you that much once, and I will always love you, just not the way you want me to anymore.”

“Please don’t.” He begged as tears rolled over his cheeks.

“I’m sorry Andy but after what you did, I can’t trust you. I can’t be married to a man where I live in fear every second of our marriage,” I said as I slipped off the engagement ring he had gotten me, “I love you, and I hope we still can be friends after this, but we can’t get married, I’m breaking up with you.”

I finished my speech and placed the ring in his hand. He was crying and his eyes were red, I felt so bad but this had to happen sooner or later. After I handed it to him and I placed my hand on his cheek and he looked into my eyes through his tear filled eyes. I leaned in and kissed him one last time, it was a soft kiss and he kissed me back. When I pulled away from him I had a few tears running down my face as well, but I turned around and started walking back to my motel.

A few hours later I was in my motel packing my things for my trip back to Gerard, just thinking about how we can finally be together put a smile on my face. I was just about to walk into the bathroom when there was a knock on my door. I wasn’t expecting anyone so I was a little apprehensive about opening the door, but when I saw who it was through the side window, I had to answer it. It was Andy.

“I wasn’t expecting to see you so soon.” I said as I opened the door wider so he could come in.

He came in without a greeting and sat down on the bed, his nose was still a little red from crying but he didn’t look that bad, he actually looked happy.

“Please be honest, was it just the airport thing, or was it Gerard to?” He asked.

“What?” I asked him.

“I see the way he looks at you, and after I proposed you started to look at him the same way. So please be honest, I won’t be mad, are you in love with Gerard?”

“Andy.”

“Kasey, I love you. I just want you to be happy, so I hope you’re happy with him, I really do.” He smiled at me then came close to me and kissed my forehead, “But please spare all of our images and wait before the two of you get married. Oh and I want an invite to the wedding.” He added then started to walk away, leaving me the one speechless.

2 updates in one day! So there's only one chapter left and there will not be a squeal, I kinda have an idea for another story, it will be a long lost daugter kinda story but I dont know if I wanna act on that or wait till another idea hits me, I'm open for suggestions.
