Burn Bright

3 weeks had gone by so fast. Now I was on my way to Warp Tour to meet up with the guys and Andy, according to the schedule, they MCR would play in the morning and BVB would be one of the last ones to go on. I was really excited to see everyone, after Gerard and I had that talk at the park we went back to normal. And our normal was texting like every hour of every day.

When I had finally got to the venue, it was around noon and Gerard was about to go on, I didn’t bother buying tickets because Andy and Gee said they would get me in for free. But as I walked in, some of the security guards stopped me from going in and told me I needed to purchase a ticket.

“My name is on the list, Kasey Way.” I’ve been using Gerard and Mikey’s last name since I had been living with them; I wanted nothing to do with my parents.

“The Way brothers don’t have a sister, end of the line.” He told me.

I groaned and pulled out my phone to call Andy so he could get me in.

“Hello?” Someone asked, it defiantly want Andy.

“Its Kasey, who is this?” I asked.

“Oh, hey Kasey, whats up? Its Ashley.”

“I’m stuck outside and they wont let me in, can you help me?”

“Tell them your name is on the list.”

“I did.” I informed him, “But these asshats won’t check the list.” One of the security guards heard my comment and gave me the death glare; I rolled my eyes and went back on the phone.

“Okay, I’ll be there in a few minutes.” He said then hung up.

I patiently waited at the front gate for Ashley to come and get me. Every time one of the security guards asked me to leave or go to the back of the line I would tell them to fuck off. It got to the point where they were about to remove me with force, lucky, that’s also when Ashley showed up.

“Hey! Leave her alone.” He called out as he came over to me.

“S-Sorry sir, we thought she was trying to get in without paying.”

“Well if you checked the list like I’m sure she has told you many times, you would have known this is Andy Biersack’s girlfriend and Gerard and Mikey Ways best friend, along with every other member of My Chemical Romance and Black Veil Brides.” Ashley said, it looked like the guard was about to shit his pants.

“Sorry.”

“Whatever.” Ashley said then wrapped his arm around me and walked us inside, I couldn’t help but flip them off as we got inside.

“Thanks man.” I said and gave him a hug.”

“No problem, where you off to?”

“My Chem is about to play. I haven’t seen anyone of them in over 3 weeks.”

“Cute, I’ll tell Ashley where you are.” He said then left.

I ran around the park until I found MCR’s stage, when I got there, they security guards checked my name for backstage passes and let me in when they found my name on the list. When I went back to go say hello to everyone, I heard someone say they had 20 seconds before going on. Also when I heard that I saw the guys staring together, Gerard wasn’t facing me, he was turned in the opposite direction as me, but Frank was facing me. When he saw me he smiled and waved they got Gerard’s attention and pointed me out. Gerard turned around and when he saw me, a huge smile broke out on his face. He ran over to me and I ran to meet him, when we met he picked me up and spun me around before dropping me and hugging me.

“You were supposed to be here like half an hour ago.”

“Long story.” I told him, we both laughed and hugged again before the rest of My Chem came over to us.

I let go of Gerard so I could hug everyone else. After I hugged them all they were ushered out to the stage and Gerard winked at me before going out. After a couple of their songs, I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist and heard a voice in my ear,

“Hey baby.”
