Burn Bright

“Andy!” I yelled and turned around to see my boyfriend smiling down on me. I went up on my toes and kissed him, he gladly kissed me back. I turned back around so I could see My Chem playing and Andy kept his arms around my waist.

“I called you and Ashley answered.” I informed him, “Where were you?”

“I was stuck at the meet and greet, he said the security wouldn’t let you in.”

“Yeah I was stuck.” I said and he snuggled closer to me.

“So, what are we gonna do tonight?” I asked.

“I have a surprise for you after my set, and then for the rest of the night,” He leaned in closer to my ear, “You’re all mine.” He whispered in a seductive tone.

“I can’t wait.” I said and held on to him a bit tighter.

The rest of My Chemical Romance’s set went really well. Andy wanted to leave to go spend some time with me but I wanted to stay and see them, not just for Gerard, but because I haven’t seen any of the guys in a long time. When their set ended, we had a few hours before Andy went on so we all went out for some food. Before Gerard told me he loved me, he and Andy used to get along, but now he barley even looked at him; and every time Andy would try and talk to him, Gerard would shrug him off or sit far away from us. Gee also looked like he was in pain every time Andy would wrap his arm around me or kiss me, I kinda felt bad for him but at the same time I didn’t.

“I want you guys to come to my show, all of you.” Andy told the guys.

“Okay.” Everyone but Gerard said.

“Why?” Gerard asked.

“You’ll all see.” Andy smirked then leaned against the seat.

“Yeah sure.” Gerard said, but he didn’t look to happy about it.

Andy either didn’t care about Gerard’s attitude or didn’t notice it because he went on. Later that day, before Black Veil Brides went on, we all meet backstage. Andy and the rest of his band were having their pre-performance huddle, and we just hung out. Gerard wasn’t really talking to me , but when BVB went on he got a little closer to me, and each song they played he got a little closer to me until he was standing right next to me on their last song. I was about to say something to him, but Andy speaking to the crowd made me stop.

“Now for our last song,” He said to everyone, “I want someone very special to me to join me on the stage.”

The crowd started cheering and Andy came over to me and held his hand out. I smiled and grabbed his hand and he led me on the stage. Andy’s fans knew we were dating so the all started cheering when they saw me.

“Kasey,” He said to me, “Ever since the first time I saw you, I knew I loved you and I wanted you to be mine. And in these past 6 months that we have had together have been the best in my life, and I wanted to ask you this.” He backed away from me and got down on one knee; I took a shaky breath and covered my mouth with my hands, “Will you marry me?” He asked.

Hard tears were falling down my face as I nodded my head yes, the crowd was going crazy when he slipped the ring on my finger and hugged me. I looked over his shoulder and saw all the guys clapping and cheering for me. All but Gerard, I saw his back as he left the stage.
