Zero Percent

In 2004, Videl's 21, turning 22 on December 31st and is majoring in music as well as art. Choppy black hair that barely passes her shoulder and 5' 8" height makes her blend in as well as stand out. Working at the Panera Bread down the street from her university as well as the comic store in the city, because that's her only way to become "normal" and not have anybody do anything for her.

Her parents are world famous doctors and people travel over to New York just to get surgery from them and to be checked up by them. Which means her family's rich and has a mansion in California, New York, and multiple other places. Since her parents are famous, they would want their only daughter to be a perfect princess and not to become a bad person. Which is what Videl exactly is.

But having no friends most of her life made it sort of hard for her to talk to people. She didn't have a real friend that she could talk to without stuttering till her senior year. Ray, that's his name but she often called him either by his last name, Toro, or Fro-man because of his huge "afro."

How she met him was a bit odd. She was working her shift at Panera, stocking up the fresh bread and she served him a couple seconds later. Weirdly, it was right when they opened and he actually stayed until lunch time when she got off her shift. After that meet up, they started hanging out more and more. Even though he was 5 years older than her, nobody would realize it because of her height and how childish he was at times.

She hasn't seen him face to face for 2 months but she has talked to him on the phone plenty of times on a regular basis. They haven't hung out in the past couple months because they often had "stuff" to do, sleep to catch up on, or the fact that he lives in New Jersey and she lives in New York.

Their backup plan will only happen when Videl drops out of university or when Ray loses his job. If that actually happens, they will buy plane tickets to California and start their lives over in the west coast. Videl said that she'll probably work at Forever 21 and Ray would like to work at a food place, since he "likes the smell of food." Both of them love the idea but know that it won't ever happen in a million years.

Flashing forward into 2004 again, Ray calls her asking if she would like to be a co-vocalist of a band he has.

Videl said she would think about it.
