Everything Will Be Ok

It was finally the next morning, and I was planning to meet up with Nathan before school. When Mikey and I both arrived at the school, I darted over to Mrs. Robinson’s room to see him. This time I wasn’t going to flirt with him though. Instead, I was going to break up with him.

When I got there, I was greeted by an awkward hug. “Hey Taylor. Are you ok? You weren’t at school yesterday.” He asked groggily. “Yeah I’m fine. I was just sick yesterday.” He frowned. “Oh I’m sorry to hear that.” Replied Nathan. “On the other hand, I did have a great time with you the other night. You’re a pretty good dancer.” He said, giving me a suggestive smirk. I let out a chuckle. “Thanks, and yeah I did too.” I commented. “We should do it again.” He said as he put his arm around my shoulder. I quickly threw it off me. “Look, Nathan…I’m flattered by all that you’re doing, it’s just that…” He interrupted me. “Just what?” He gave me a puzzled look. “It’s just that I can’t see you anymore…”I finally confessed. “What? Why?” He exclaimed. “Well… I…” I could tell he was getting impatient waiting for an answer. “I love someone else…” I kept my focus down on the ground, so I wouldn’t have to see his reaction. “Who?” I could tell Nathan was getting frustrated. “I can’t tell you…” I quietly mumbled. “Wait is it that one teacher that Stacy always talks about?” I furrowed my eyebrows. “What teacher?” I asked nervously. “You know. The one that confronted me in the locker room.” I froze. “W-why w-would you think that?” I tried my best to play dumb. “Stacy told me she saw you guys getting it on in his classroom.” My eyes widened at his statement. “What? No! That’s not true!” I exclaimed. “Well that’s what she told me.” He snapped. “Well you shouldn’t believe everything that prick says.” I sassed. I was going to say something else when the bell for first period rang. “Alright. Look. I don’t care who it is, but if I find out that it is that teacher, I’m going to make both of your lives a living hell.” His threat caused shivers down my spine. Nathan then knocked the books out of my hand, causing them to fall to the ground. “Have fun in class.” He said as he walked away laughing. Ugh what a dick.
