Everything Will Be Ok

***A couple hours later***
It was now time for dinner and Mikey finally came home. “Something smells really good. What are we having?” Mikey asked as he walked in from the kitchen. “Chinese takeout. I didn’t really feel like cooking tonight, so I thought we could just order that and watch TV together.” Replied Gerard. “Alright. Sounds good to me.” Mikey said as we all sat ourselves on the couch to eat.

Halfway through the movie we were watching, I began to snuggle up into Gerard as he wrapped his arms around me. “I see you two have made up.” Mikey commented. I giggled. “Yeah.” Gerard replied, smiling down at me. “Oh I forgot to tell you. Taylor and I are going to the beach this weekend, do you wanna come?” He asked, as I could feel the warmth of his breath on my shoulders. “Yeah, that would be fun!” A huge grin spread across Mikey’s face. “Is it ok if I bring a friend though?” He asked quietly. Gerard brought his focus from me, back to Mikey. “Like who? Frank? Ray?” Mikey lowered his head, as if he was too embarrassed to say what he was going to say. “It’s a girl…” His face was now bright pink. Gerard furrowed his eyebrows. “What’s her name? Have I met her?” No, her name is Brooke…we’re good friends…” I then began to think back to the girl he was with at the park earlier. “Are you guys…dating?” Gerard hesitated. “I don’t know…I guess…” Mikey confessed. “Yeah, I guess its ok to bring her along.” He said clutching onto my hand. Mikey’s face beamed. “Really? Thank you!” He squealed. Gerard chuckled. “No problem. But make sure you tell her that we’re going Saturday. Alright?” Mikey nodded. “Alright. He replied as we continued on with the movie without saying another word.
