"We need to talk." He said grabbing my wrist.

"Can it wait? I really have to pee." I told him and giggled, when he didn't laugh back I stopped.

"I don't think you have the flu."

"Neither do I, nor the doctor." I reminded him.

"Liz." he said as he let go of me and ran his hands through his hair.

"What? Just tell me Gerard."

"Remember when the doctor asked if we had sex and you said no?"

"Yeah..."

"I'm about 99% sure I wasn't wearing a condom the night we met...." He said peaking his eyes out of his hands.

In those few words it felt like my world had just come crashing down on me.

"Liz..?" Gerard hesitantly asked, I must have spaced out for a bit. "When's the last time you had a period?"

Fuck.

"Unlock the door." I told him.

"Liz I think-" He started.

"UNLOCK THE FUCKING DOOR!!" I yelled at him, his eyes widened and he looked hurt. Great now I feel like a bitch, but never the less, he still unlocked the door and I got out of his car but stopped and turned to him before I closed the door.

"I think you should leave, and just don't talk to me for a bit." I closed the door before he could respond.

I ran into the house and shut the door as fast as I could. Am I pregnant? I have to find out as soon as possible. I just wanted to find out in my own, then tell Gerard. Since I knew we didn't own any pregnancy test in our home, I had to wait until Gerard left before I could go out and buy some.

I peaked out the window, careful to make sure Gerard couldn't see me. His car was still in my driveway. I could barely make him out but he was in the drivers seat with his head against the seat. I had no idea what he was thinking of, but I kinda hope he felt like crap. I mean, we cant have a baby this young.

It took a few minutes before he finally pulled out of my driveway and left for his house. I waited 5 more minutes before pulling out my car and heading down to the local target to buy the test. I kept my eyes down the whole time. What would people think of the new teenage girl shopping around for a pregnancy test?

When I grabbed the test I pushed my hair in front of my face so hopefully no one could see me and I walked as fast as I could to the self check-out. Because of my hair in my face, I couldn't really see where I was going, and I ran into someone dropping the test to the floor. I would have fallen back if the stranger hadn't grabbed my shoulders and steadied me.

"Sorry, that was my- Liz?" Frank asked. Fuck.

"uh, yeah, sorry I wasnt really looking where I was going." I said.

"No way, my fault," he looked to the floor where I dropped the box, he bent down to pick it up for me. "Here you dropped your...." He stopped when he saw what the box said.

"Liz..." He sounded disappointing.

"Can I just have it please?" I asked as I went to grab it, he pulled it back before I could grab it.

"Does Gerard know?"

"It was Gerard who put the thought in my head." I told him.

"Speak of the devil." He said as he pulled out his phone, "Hey Gee."

"Frank." I said, he just held his hand out to silence me, I sighed as he kept on his conversation.

I was getting really irritated, instead of waiting I turned around and walked back to the aisle that had all the pregnancy test and I grabbed another one. When I grabbed one and turned around to but it, Frank was standing behind me. As I tried to walk around him, he blocked my path.

"Frank I just wanna know." I sighed out.

"I understand, and I bet my life so does Gee, he should be here with you." He scolded.

"Well he's not."

"He will soon, I told him you were here and what you were doing."

"You had no right." I told him.

"And you have no right to decide anything without Gerard."

"Its my body, I can do whatever the hell I goddamn please!" I yelled in his face and stormed past him.

"Liz, what if he wants it? What if it creates the cure for cancer? You cant do that." He yelled back.

What the fuck is up with him?

"Not now Frank." I told him and walked to the self check out to pay. Once it was paid for I left the store.

As I made a sharp turn to my car, I ran into someone and lost my balance again. I almost fell I would have it Gerard hadn't caught me. When he saw me, he looked shocked, hurt, and sad all at the same time. I stared into his eyes and he stared back into mine, his gaze eventually got the best of me and I threw my arms over him and cried into his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist tightly and stroked my hair as he whispered sweet thing to me.

After a few minutes he got into his car and I got into mine and he followed me back to my house where I could take the test. Once inside I locked myself in the bathroom and took all 5, just to be safe. As I washed my hands, I already knew what the answer was going to be. When I let Gerard in and we waited I think he knew what the answer was as well, and when we saw all 5 pink plus signs we knew. I was pregnant.
