Just another Killjoy

"Alright. Let's go" Samantha tried to pump us up. I was really excited for this, seeing my older brother again... words can't describe how good I feel. I went to the bathroom and washed my face. I brushed my hair and got changed into some of Katherine's clothes. They were grey and white and boring. I pinned my hair up and wore a dark brown wig. I put on some glasses and put some clear lip gloss on. I got a handbag and placed my clothes inside of it, including my ray gun and keys.

I walked out and saw Sammy with a Black wig on with the same clothes, Jess had her usual hair but put it into a neat bun, she too had the same clothes on. Katherine grabbed her bag and keys and left the house with Sam, we gave them farewell hugs and "Good luck".

I glanced at Jess and she smiled. She grabbed my hand and opened the door. We saw a BL/ind car drive past so we let go and turned to face the house. Jess locked the door and turned to the direction of the building. I followed next to her. "Keep a straight face, okay. Small smiles, not big ones. If you're too happy, they will know something is up" she mumbled with her hand in front of her mouth. I nodded in response and wore a small smile.

Another BL/ind car drove past. I kept the small smiled and they didn't notice a thing. I slowly turned my head to face Jess and she faced me, an excited look in her eyes. We found his house. We stood out the front of the driveway and I took a deep breath. We reached the front door and Jess knocked on the door. The door opened quietly and a guy with blue hair appeared. I exhaled silently and kept a straight face. I wanted to wrap my arms around him and cry, but I couldn't, not right now anyway.

"Good morning" He said with a grin. I tried to look professional, I pushed the glasses up to the bridge of my nose and cleared my throat. Yeah, real professional Madeline. "Good morning Sir, may we come in?" I asked in a monotone voice. "Sure, come on in. Would you like a drink?" He opened the door wider for us to come in. I grinned and then remembered to only smile. He noticed and his eye brows furrowed. We only walked half way in when I felt a gun being held to my head. I froze and Jessica gasped. She got her gun out and pointed it at him. I swallowed hard and put my hands up in surrender.

"Who are you?" He said in a not so friendly manner. I turned around slowly and looked him in the eyes. I took my glasses off and lifted the wig off my head. I stood there for a second and watched his face change. "You, You aren't. That's impossible. I thought you..." I felt a tear slowly roll down my face. He looked into my eyes and he wore a sly smile. I pursed my lips and tackled him in a massive bear hug. He made an 'oof' sound and then returned the hug. I sniffled and laughed carelessly. "You don't know how much I've missed you big bro" I let go of him and softly punched his shoulder. He grinned and brought me in for another hug. "Me too. Me too" He sighed and kissed my forehead.

I placed my wig back on and glasses. "You're coming with me" I told him. He looked around and then turned to me. "No I'm not. What if we get caught? We'll probably get killed" He said in a hushed voice. Jess coughed and tapped her wrist. "Look we need to leave now, the Drac's start their big shift in 20 minutes. Grab your things and follow us" I ordered him. He hesitated and then ran further into the house. He came back with a bag and opened the door. "Remember small smiles" Jessica coughed into her hand. We walked together and reached the van. He got shot gun while I drove. Jessica sat in the back with my motorbike.

"Isn't that Dad's bike?" Nathan asked, raising an eyebrow. I nodded and started the engine.
"Alright, Let's get out of this hell-hole" I said while driving away. We reached the exit and I squealed. There were no Drac's guarding the exit. I relaxed and continued driving to zone 6.
When we got there I grabbed my bag and hopped out of the car. I fell to the ground and sighed. Freedom. Finally. The sound of another car pulled up and beside the van. Katherine got out and Sam got out with her. "Fuck! That shit was intense" Sam said. "I was so lucky, Korse wasn't at the office today" Katherine smiled. I frowned a little but shrugged it off.

Something felt off, in the pit of my stomach. I heard nothing, it was silent, an eerie type of silence. "Maddie, is there something wrong?" Nathan wrapped his fingers around my forearm. I shushed him and walked closer to the diner. Still, there was no sound. I turned to Sammy, she must have noticed as well because her face went pale. "You guys, stay here in the van" I ordered Nathan, Jess and Katherine. They obeyed my command and hid in the van. I motioned for Sam to come closer to me. We rounded the Diner and went to the front door. I snatched the ray gun in my bag and dropped the bag. Sam had her gun and was ready.

I nudged the door open with the tip of the gun and heard complete silence. If that makes sense. All the blood left my face. I walked closer to the stairs. I checked both sides of the hallway and opened Ghoul's bedroom door. I saw his body under the covers. I sighed and went over to tuck him in. I went to kiss his forehead when I saw a tiny red dot in his neck. I looked closer and realized that he had been drugged. I gasped and covered my mouth with my hand. I ran to Party's room immediately. There was nothing there, his bed was empty and a note was left neatly on his pillow. I walked closer to the bed and picked the note up.

My eyes saw a red patch on his desk, I then felt the tears spring to my eyes. He struggled. I opened the envelope and read the letter.

To Madeline Lewis
I found you and your friends. I am fully aware of your plan to save your brother. I let you take Nathan Lewis. Then I thought, that's no fare for me. For your rescuing I made a simple trade. Your brother for your lover. Since you have feelings for Party Poison I only thought it would be a good idea to take him away. Don't worry, he put up a good fight. It only took a second for the drugs to kick in.

P.S. If you want both Party Poison and Nathan Lewis then trade yourself in. Simple. In the meantime I will enjoy watching him suffer. The future isn't so bulletproof for you my dear.

I dropped to my knees and clutched the note. I felt nothing. I didn't realize Sam was shaking me until I saw her slap my face. I snapped out of my frozen state and Sobbed loudly into Sam's shoulder. She held me close and gently took the note out of my hands. She read it quietly to herself and I felt her tense underneath me. "Shit" She breathed out. I heard loud groans coming from the hallways. I slowly got up to stand and felt weak.

I have to save Party. I have to save my brother. I closed my eyes tightly. "I'm trading myself in" I confirmed. "Fuck" she rubbed her face and groaned. "I have no fucking clue what to do" she said. I stood in silence. I heard the sound of feet padding down the hallway. I turned slowly and saw a tired Kobra. He opened one eye and scratched his neck. When he saw my face he tensed up and opened both eyes. He then looked at Party's empty bed and the puddle of blood on the desk.

"What happened?" He looked straight into my eyes. I gritted my teeth and looked at the ground. "Korse" I said and walked past him. I went outside and opened the van. I tore my bike out of the van and saw Nathan give me a confused look. I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek, he looked into my eyes with a look of confusion still on his face. Jess put her hand on my shoulder and pulled me back. I smiled at her and jumped on my bike. A trail of dust leaving behind me as I left the Diner for the last time. 'I'm coming for you Gerard' I thought.

I was driving as fast as the motorbike would go. My brain was set for battle. I turned my head back and saw the killjoy car driving behind me. I rolled my eyes and looked straight ahead. I stopped my bike. I got my ray gun out and waited for the car to stop. I pointed my gun at them. "Don't you fucking try to stop me. I'm getting Party out. You see him, you take him back to Zone 6. Never come back. You hear me!?" I demanded. Ghoul and Jet looked at Kobra and Kobra nodded. They followed me to where Korse was standing, a whole parade of Draculoids armed with shields and weapons.

Party was tied up and on his knees in front of Korse, his face was bleeding and his red hair was messy. I pulled up and Party's sad eyes drifted up to mine. He started moving around furiously, he was trying to get out of the bondage he was wrapped in. "No! No!" He squirmed and cried out. I felt the tears roll down my cheek. I hopped off my black beauty and heard car doors open and shut behind me. Suddenly an arm was wrapped around my hip. I turned and saw Jet on my left, Ghoul was on my right and Kobra was next to him. Kobra had a murderous look in his eyes when he saw his brother covered in blood and dirt.

"I'm here, let him go" I spat. "No!" Party screamed out. Korse rolled his eyes and walked over to me. "Glad you made it" He smirked. "A deal is a deal, let him go" I firmly said as Korse took a knife out.
He took his time walking to Party and he cut him free, he got up and limped to me. He had tears in his eyes. "Please. Don't do this" He begged. I caressed his face and placed my lips on his, he returned the kiss. Once we were apart he smiled and his eyes began to water. "I'm doing this for you and Nathan. My brother, I broke him out" I smiled softly at him and he looked down. Jet wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly. I hugged Kobra and he placed a tiny kiss on the top of my head. Once he let go he grabbed one of Party's arm and Jet took the other. Party widened his eyes and cried. "Please don't do this" He begged as they walked away with him. He tried to break their grip but they never released him.

I turned to ghoul and his eyes were puffy and red. I threw my arms around him and he squeezed me. "I'm going to miss you so much Madeline" He sniffled and kissed my head. I felt the tears pour out of my eyes. "I'll miss you too. Take care of him for me" I said and he nodded. He let me go and punched me lightly in the shoulder. He wiped his face and walked away to help Kobra and Jet.

"No. Let go of me! She can't do this!" He shouted. I turned away and felt more tears roll down my face. "Madeline! I Love you! Please! Don't do this! Madeline!" I turned around and saw him sobbing. He was dragged into the car. I took one last look at them and they wiped furiously at their eyes. I smiled and waved. I mouthed an "I love you" and watched as Jet drove away. Party was in the back and he had his hand pressed against the glass. I blew a kiss and watched the car disappear.

Korse clapped his hands and smiled triumphantly. "Good. Now it's time for my plan" He rubbed his hands together and my eyebrows furrowed. I felt a sharp pain in my neck and everything went fuzzy. I fell to the floor and that was it.

Ghoul's P.O.V

Gerard's head was on my shoulder. He was still crying and blubbering about getting her back. I tried not to cry but every now and then a small sound would escape my lips and a few tears would leave my eyes.

Mikey was looking out of the window, his hand would occasionally meet his face. Ray hid his face in his hair and sped down Route Guano. When we got to zone 6 Ray got out and slammed the door closed, he ran inside and I looked down at Gerard. He was still crying into my shoulder. I raked my fingers through his knotted hair and sighed. "Come on Gee. Why don't you have a shower? Get cleaned up" I tried to say in a cheery voice.

He slowly got up and faced me. His eyes were the same colour as his hair. I opened the car door and held my hand out for him, he gripped onto it hard and I pulled him out of the car with me. He closed the car door with my hand wrapped around his. I wiped my nose and pulled Gerard with me to the bathroom. I let go of his hand and he went into the room. A small smile was on his face, "Thank you" He said quietly. I closed the door for him and heard the shower turn on.

I walked slowly into my room and went to close my door when I saw Madeline's room. I closed my eyes and felt my eyes water. Fuck, we need to get her back. I miss her already. I slumped on my bed and held my head in my hands. I sat there for what seemed like hours until I heard someone walk into my room. I lifted my head up and saw Sunlight with teary eyes. I stood up and looked into her sad eyes. "Fuck, we need to get her back" She wept. I encased her in my arms and she hugged me back. "We do" I exhaled.

Notes

Chapter eight. I have to say that my computer was being the biggest A** Hole today.
It kept on undoing my work, like STAHP! Ergh! But here it is! After 3 times of writing this chapter I hope it is good.
