Just another Killjoy

Fire. Everywhere. The sounds of children screaming and alarms ringing. The smoke burnt my lungs. Tiny embers flew into my face and burnt my skin. I screamed in pain and saw my uncle. He picked me up and carried me. My mother, father and brother were running with us. The smoke burnt my eyes and I coughed. The whole scenery changed to me sitting outside with my uncle, he was talking about some radio thing he was doing. I didn't know much about it but I remember it being cool. He patted me on the back and said he would be back later on that night. Then it changed once more to my parents being shot and my brother being dragged away. I cried out.

"Midnight!" I kept crying out for them to bring my brother back.

"Midnight!" my eyes snapped open and looked into a pair of hazel ones. I closed my eyes and relaxed. It was only a nightmare. A really fucked up nightmare.

"Hey, are you okay" Party spoke in a calming tone.

"Yeah- uh.." I got up slowly and wiped my face. I looked up and saw Kobra with concern filled in his eyes. "Are you okay?" He asked.

I nodded and got up. I reached for my bag and heard Party clear his throat.

"We'll- uh- wait for you in the kitchen" I looked at them and kobra had a slight blush on his face. They both turned around quickly and walked out of the room while shutting the door.

What was their problem? That's when I noticed, I was only in my shirt and underwear. I smirked and pulled on my purple jeans and threw on my nirvana muscle tee. I went outside into the kitchen and heard a few murmurs. "What color were they?" I heard ghoul asked.

"Black" I walked in and sat on one of the stools near the bench.

Party looked down and blushed while ghoul meowed. "Meow, little mamma" He grabbed a can and threw it at me. I looked down and saw 'power pup'. I sighed and excused myself. I grabbed the plastic bag filled with crackers from my motorcycle and threw it at ghoul. "Woof woof, Little cutie" I winked at him and he raised an eyebrow. "Did I mention that I think I'm in love with this girl?" He asked the rest of the guys and they chuckled.

I liked my friendship with ghoul, he was cool and easy going. We sat on the bench and at the crackers.

"So my plan. I was thinking we get dressed in the creepy suits the Dracs are wearing and drive the van to a supply place. We steal the food and if we get caught we won't get in trouble anyway" I said while swallowing the last cracker.

The guys looked at each other, "That has to be one of the greatest plans I have ever heard!" Jet said with excitement on his face. "Let's do it!" Kobra said.

We got out and undressed the Drac's. Well the guys did... I just stood back and watched. It was really weird and kind of sickening seeing the same person come out of the same suits.

We finally got changed and I got in the drivers seat. I told the guys to sit in the back of the van and hold their guns. It was an hour later and we arrived at battery city. I went to the supply place and parked at the back of it. I checked my suit and found a card. "Bingo" I said. I opened the sliding door to the van and pulled my mask up to reveal my face. I held the card up and wiggled my eyebrows.

"Again. I think I'm in love with this girl!" Ghoul was on the left of me. We walked up casually to the door and I scanned the card. The door opened with a click. I turned back and saw someone give me the thumbs up, We went inside and immediately looked for anyone in the supply room. When there was no one, we went to the food area and grabbed some of the boxes. We put them in the van and went back for some other needed supplies. I went to the cigarettes and grabbed a whole package of them and threw them in the van. I found the battery thing I needed for my iPod, I danced on the spot before chucking that in the van as well. We got everything we needed and decided to leave. Just as we walked out two Drac's looked at us. We all straightened up and walked to the van. The boys got in the back and closed the door. The drac's stopped and walked to me.

I pulled my ray gun out and shot them both in the head. I jumped into the drivers seat and drove out as fast as I could. "What happened!?" Kobra asked. "I just dusted two Draculoids, that's what happened, Honey!" I sung out to him. I turned the corner to the exit and drove out. I saw a piece of paper lying next to me on the seat. I hadn't noticed it until now and looked at it. It looked like Party, Kobra, Jet and ghoul with an exterminate 'X' on their face. There was a barrier with Drac's up head. They were checking each vehicle. I grabbed the paper and when it was my turn I held it out. The Drac looked at it and I pulled my card out for him. He scanned it and nodded his head. I nodded mine and took my card back.

Then we were off. Freedom felt sweet. I checked the rearview mirror and they went back to their normal job with checking the cars that went out. When we were far away I squealed and sped up. "That was fucking awesome!" Ghoul shouted. I grinned and sped off to zone 6.
