Sex and violence.

Chapter sixty two

It was the typical party, packed with people you had no relation or even know who they were. The only person Frank could detect was the tall figure next to him. Together they made their way through the hall way, by then they realized that there weren't even that many people. The house itself was small and the amount of people filled the space fast. Most of them were standing in their cliques, the typical beer bottle in their hands. Random and flirtatious laughs rang in the air like sirens, and the stench of alcohol wasn't that detectable yet. They didn't arrive late nor weren't any where near early. The party was only a couple hours old and the two found themselves seated on the couch where a group of teenagers had already started a conversation. There were three boys and two girls, no older than Frank.

Brown eyes glanced over to Frank, they belonged to one of the girls. She wasn't unattractive or anything, she just looked like an average teenager with long, straight brown hair. The bottle in her hand was still half way full and her eyeliner was neat. Just by the few hints Frank could tell she wasn't here for a one night stand. He supposed that the second girl dragged her along so she wouldn't be alone. The second girl was more attractive than the first but Frank wasn't interested. She'd been engaged in a conversation between the few guys. The sense of her wants were completely obvious with her forced laughs and her constant leaning on one of the guys as she leaned back from laughing. Her nails were painted pink and held a red cup that almost seemed untouched unlike the first girl. Frank could sense her type, and the guys around her. He made some sort of noise that was like a laugh to himself, an award to picking up the obvious pieces the girl's been laying down. Just as he'd turn back around, he met with the same brown eyes from before. She now smiled at Frank who returned the gesture. The two moved closer to each other and shared their names.

Her named turned out to be Maria and his guess on her arrival was true when she'd told him she wasn't into parties. Frank didn't mind them but he wouldn't say that it'd been easy socializing again after being alone for so long. But he managed to share his own name with her, even more getting his age out which happened to be two years older than herself.

"You don't look sixteen." He responded when she answered. She looked older by the way her clothes covered her chest and a minimal amount of make up. Even the way she spoke made her seem mature, her calm tone that was clear from the childish flirting. He even enjoyed her company, a surprise after he'd spent four years of his life being a jack ass and doing everything parents would warn their children about it. He now looked at her as she answered.

"Yeah, I get that a lot. I wish I was older though." Her voice shown that she'd already given the same speech after everyone's reaction to her true age. Frank felt a little strange when he found himself asking a question she probably answered a hundred times already. She'd beat him before Frank could cough an apology. "It's probably cause I'm not into parties and sex and that kind of stuff." Her hands held onto the glass bottle tighter, the concentration on the surface was smudged as her thumbs rubbed the sides as she grew embarrassed by her answer. Frank caught on to her act and comforted the situation.

"I wish I was like that," Frank answered, winning Maria's attention. Her brown eyes looked at him again.

"What do you mean?" She tilted her head, shifting her body as she pulled her legs up and crossed them. Frank thought for a second, sorting out an actual understandable answer. Maria waited, moving hair out of her face for the few seconds Frank took before answering.

"Well, I kinda-" he muttered out an answer but his words were cut out by a new voice. It was masculine and traced to one of the guys from earlier. The group all had grins on their faces and Justin blushed on the outside. It had taken Frank a few seconds to understand and hear what has been said.

Understanding the blush on Justin's face, he turned to Maria again. Her body had leaned over and her head was now behind one of the guys, the second girl had leaned towards her, whispering something in her ear when the two of them returned to their places. An even wider grin on the blonde's face.

"We can go to the basement, Drew said no one would be down there." someone said through a thick accent, the voice traced back to a boy with black hair that had lazily been put up, but oddly still looked nice. As quick as the boy said this, the group began to stand up. Maria sat still for a moment, unsure about the motion. She met eyes with Frank, together they shared the same confusion until the blonde grabbed her arm, dragging her along with the group and Frank stayed close behind.

The boy had been right, the basement was empty. It was a small space and wasn't anything special, similar to Frank's even. It was cement and a table was placed in the room, a light shined above it. The chairs around it soon filled up with the group and Frank found himself seated next to Justin and the boy with the accent on the other side who quickly stood up. "I'm getting beer and cards." He'd said on his way back to the stairs and was out of sight. Frank turned back to the group, him and Justin were identical as they were confused on what was going on. A laugh came from one of the bigger guys that had been with them, he noticed the emotion and took it upon himself to fix it.

"That was Roger. He's Drew's younger brother." The situation became clearer the more he spoke. "I'm Duke, that's Chance and Tera's over there next to Maria." He finished as he pointed to each of the group members. The room became silent and Frank had finally noticed that they were waiting for an introduction for them.

"Um, I'm Frank and that's Justin." He rushed, pointing to himself and Justin. The rest nodded in approval and Maria kept quiet at the situation. Frank couldn't help but watch her until loud foot steps came down stairs. Drinks were set on the table and a box of cards was dropped in the middle, Roger finally seated himself after his hands were empty.

"Alright, rules are if you fold early you have to take off something, and winner can choose whoever's left in the circle to strip something." Roger said through an accent, gaining support from the two other guys and Tera. Justin and Frank nodded in agreement and quickly the game started.

Frank wasn't an expert on poker but he wasn't clueless. The first round started and already Tera threw her cards down, winning a chant from the guys. "Ohh, Tera." Their voices combined and soon everyone's eyes were on her. She was the first to fold and was quick to pull her shirt off, leaving her in a tank top as she sat backdown. Chance still continued to stare at Tera but soon returned back to his hand. Frank took his time to decide if anything was worth it, his hand wasn't bad but it wasn't going to win. If he folded he'd be forced to lose something but if he stayed chances were he wouldn't be picked to strip down, so he stayed in.

Only Tera and Duke were the ones to fold, while everyone else was still in. Roger called out and everyone dropped their cards, eyes landed on Justin when his cards were exposed. He shifted in the sudden discomfort but forced himself out of his trance as he continued to play as planned, as the winner he chose Frank. Feline eyes darted at Justin but he smirked at him, amused that Frank now had to lose an article of clothing. The boy huffed before standing to his feet, quickly tearing the shirt off his back. He watched eyes as they moved to the tattoo across his abdomen. Earning another accented smirk.

"Search and destroy." He laughed, collecting the cards as he began shuffling. Frank sat down once again, elbowing Justin. Justin only laughed again before taking a drink from his unkown drink, whatever it was he drank it. Earning a concerned look from Frank but he himself took a drink from his. He sat his cup down once cards were delt again. This time his hand had been bad and he quickly began his debate if it was worth folding or not, already being one of the first to take off their shirts, he stayed in. Hoping he wouldn't be the one stripped down to his boxers while three kids were still fully clothes.

Once again Roger called and everyone dropped their cards after Tera folded early, taking off her tank top and earning glances from Chance and Duke as her bra was exposed. This time, Maria had won the round. Picking Justin to take something off, and he did, the game picked up and another round took place. The game amused Frank with the alcohol that was now in his blood stream. He watched everyone as they began stripping, his eyes always falling back on Maria. Her arms were folded over her chest as she was only in her bra, his discomfort was noticeable but ignored by Frank. So much for a good girl.
Roger had been the winner of the next round and Frank was chosen, shock aroused from him but he didn't refuse. He stepped out of his jeans and sat back down, turning to Roger and found his blue eyes still on the small boy. Frank was unsure how to feel in the situation he was in, but the buzz that now reached his brain told him to enjoy it. He grinned back at Roger, gasping when he felt his chair move. Roger's hands let go of the chair once it had been set directly next to his, which wasn't that big of a change. Frank had been the first to look away waiting for the next round but the card's hadn't moved from Roger, instead his voice was heard. "New rule, winner can still chose who takes off what OR they can make them do a dare."

The rule came into play, and the next few rounds had only been Tera folding and Chance winning rounds, making Duke do ridiculous things, but suddenly Roger had now won the round. Frank turned and already found his eyes staring at him. Frank just waved as his mind wasn't lucid on what was going on, but Roger hadn't taken much of his own drink. "Frank. I dare you to make out with me." Roger's grin came off demonic but Frank didn't detect anything as he still sat there.

"Okay." He shrugged as he leaned over, Roger taking control of the rest as he grabbed Frank's chin and kissed him fiercely, and Frank went with it.

"Alrighty." Chance said dully, collecting the cards as he took control. "Rules are the same, I'm dealer now." He stated in with his new rank, dealing the cards as before and the game continued and everyone now sat left in their underwear. Frank and Roger had still been kissing and Chance hesitated whether the game was worth continuing or not. The amusement was achieved and they were left satisfied, but clueless on what happened next.

Frank and Roger had been in their own world and Frank now sat on Roger's lap, he pulled away, "hold on I have to pee." he giggled and slurred as an effect from the liquor. Attempting to move away but Roger thought otherwise, holding Frank's knees so he couldn't move. "Bish I'll go on you." Frank slurred again but his eyes managed to stay locked on Roger's. Without a wait, Frank was freed from Roger's grip and now went through a whole new struggle to put his clothes back on. The process was tough and took longer than needed, but he managed and climbed the stairs without falling.

It wasn't till he was back upstairs when he realized he didn't know the house lay out at all. It was obvious that people have left but others still lingered around, he walked up to a random girl by the stairs. She told Frank that there was one probably open upstairs, he nodded a thanks and climbed the second set of stairs. His mind slowly revived it's self when he began moving around. His senses grew closer to normal and Frank knew what was all going on. He could even hear muffled voices from a room, no light showed under the door but Frank continued down the hall searching for the bathroom but the voices became clearer and the sounds weren't voices, but druken moans. Two were heard and echoed each other, Frank tried to ignore the noise when he finally found a bathroom. He closed the door behind him and turned the light on, his reflection was the first thing he saw. His hair had been a muffled, thanks to Roger but Frank remembered why he was here and moved through the room but stopped when the sounds still came through the door, they were only louder and higher pitched. Words were formed and Frank slipped out any trance he was currently in when he heard a familiar name.

His blood was hot and he threw himself out the door, following the sounds to the right room and barged through the door. Finding a figure leap off another and rushed to hide his waist under the blankets. "God dammit Frank." Drew gasped, his hands rubbing his face. The second figure laid still on the bed, their words were slurred and complained that Drew had stopped. Frank came closer to the bed and the second figure was who he expected, and even
worse he was wasted.

"Gerard, get the fuck out of bed." Frank growled, tugging his arms. Gerard tried pulling himself back but Frank was stronger than the drunk. "Get dressed, now." Frank hissed as he threw clothes in Gerard's hands when he finally stood on his feet. Gerard tried to object but Frank only pushed him away from Drew. "Gerard I swear to god." Frank said with more rage, earning fear from Gerard. Almost crying Gerard stuggled to put his clothes on, but the second his shirt was over his head he bolted out of the room.

"Why the hell were you fucking my brother?" Frank spat the second the door was shut. Even Drew shifted from his vicious tone.

"He's my boyfriend." He responded.

"He was drunk. Why- how- you're disgusting. Stop using him!" Frank struggled to find words through his anger but finally made a clear statement, but Drew had the upper hand as he stayed calm.

"You have a lot to say, I've been the one with him in the hospital everyday and you did nothing but sit and home and jack off when you realised how much of a dick you are." Drew swore but felt a sudden emotion when the bitter words rolled off his tongue, but ignored the feeling when he remembered that it was Frank he was talking to.

Frank let out random noises that were almost words but couldn't figure himself out. He only turned and pounded his hand into the wall, not even noticing the crack in his knuckles.

"Stay away from him or I swear to god I'll blow your brains out." Frank snarled behind tears that he denied were there. Drew could see them perfectly though and told himself he'd never forget the sight, the day he made Frank cry. The day he'd put himself in charge and put Frank in his place. He won the argument and watched Frank as he left the room.

The hallway was empty but Frank's anger made him feel like he'd been in a tight crowd, like he couldnt move through anything. Almost falling down the flight of stairs but caught himself a second early. His eyes darted through the room but saw nothing. He turned corners and managed his way in the kitchen where Justin had been at the counter, Maria was stood across from him.

"Hey-woah are you okay. Was it Roger?" Justin spoke, his body almost jumping from his skin when he saw the wet face and his hand leaked blood that Frank didn't even notice was there. He used the same hand to wipe his face, only now noticing the crimson when it was now smeared on his face. His cried grew more sloppy and Maria had rushed for a towel and Justin pulled Frank into an embrace. "Jesus, what happened?" Justin asked, his hand petting the brown hair on the head that was pressed against his chest.

Frank hadn't answered when Justin pulled away, allowing Maria to clean the mess on his face. Stopping when she didn't even know what to do with his hand. Frank pushed both away, hiding his face behind his hands. "I'm fine." he fussed. Denying any problem but they were obvious, Justin gave another concerned look.

"Frank.. If he threatened you-"

"It's not Roger, okay!" the boy found himself shouting. The two in front of him stiffened but felt as if Frank wasn't telling them the truth.

"Frank, you can tell us." the voice wasn't from Justin this time, but Maria. Frank looked back at her, he shut his eyes and ducked away.

"Where's Gerard?" He muttered, Maria turned to Justin. Confused by the foreign name to her, Justin looked at her.

"Gerard's his foster brother." Justin answered, earning another growl from Frank.

"Do you know where he is or not?"

"Yeah, he came down stairs and said he was going home. Why?"
Frank's eyes quickly shot up, "Justin we need to leave. Now."

"Why? It's only midnight." Justin tried to object but Frank almost ripped his arm off from pulling him to the door.

"This is fucking Jersey, he's going to get himself killed." (foreshadowing hueheheheheh)

"You're so paranoid." Justin complained, rolling his eyes as he let Frank drag him to the door. Quickly catching himself when Frank decided they should run, but by then Justin gave up on getting out of the situation and the two ran out of the subdivision. They booked it through streets and allies. Cutting any corner and Frank's heart suffocated more and more with each block they ran. He wanted to throw himself on the driveway and pass out but there were other things to do, and Frank was the first one inside.

"Gerard?" Frank called, heading up the stairs. The couch was empty and the lights had been off. The emptiness was u settling and the fear showed in his voice. "Gerard?" he called again, his voice cracking on his name. Again he jogged down the hall, opening the door. His heart dropped even more when his hopes were crushed and the dark room was vacant. "You said he went home."

"That's what he told me." Justin said, just as concerned.

"Well obviously he lied," Frank turned back, walking past the door way. A wind of Frank's emotion blew onto Justin as he raced down the hallway and into the kitchen. Justin followed at a slow pace, his mind ran with thoughts and confusion when he saw the small figure rugging through drawers. Weird growling sounds came from Frank along with the crashing of objects being thrown around until they all stopped.

"Here!" He shouted, tossing a cylinder object in the air.

"What's this?" Justin asked, catching it. He turned it over with his hands, his fingers hitting a button and a beam of light appeared on the wall.

"We're going to find Gerard." Frank stated simply, closing the last drawer before whipped down the stairs and to the front door. He didn't care about much aside from the fact that his brother with cancer is roaming around Jersey at a late hour. "You go down Samson and I'll check 92nd." He ordered, but Justin went with it and the boys parted ways again.

He could feel his heart ramming against his rib cage, a consequence from running around the whole damn town. Anxiety didn't wait a second to take control of his mind. The more streets he went down the more the anxiety took of him. There weren't many other places he hadn't checked and things got terrifying when he noticed of the venues.

Frank bolted down town, cars screeched to a stop as Frank jumped on the streets waiting for nothing. The name of the dock almost haunted him and before he knew it he was face to face with the sign. It was the pier.

The waves were rough and crashed hard against the dock, Frank jumping each time he heard the water smack the shore. He cringed but forces himself down the dock, and it was no use. Everything was closed and the lights were off. He had no choice but to turn back around, but he managed. The lay out of the town played in his head, he memorized every road, every store. And Gerard had to be around somewhere.

His legs couldn't carry him any longer, he cursed to himself as he forced himself to take steps. For the first time this whole search, Frank called Gerard's name. The calls were weak and cracked through most of the name, he said it again. And again. And again. Nothing was working anymore, he was gone.
The thought of never seeing Gerard again scared him and remembering the last words he'd said to him. There wasn't even much said to Gerard since New Year's. But what if he could fix it? What if Gerard was still around, what if he could save him. And that was enough for Frank, he snapped out of his trance and stood to his feet again. The bitter air bit at him but Frank continued walking.

He soon stepped foot at the end of town, there was a bridge that lead to the next city. Frank sighed and walked down the structure. He shivered from fear, the thought of bridges always freaked him out. His eyes were piercing through everything at first he saw nothing, but then a dark shadow appeared. It was unidentified at first but as he took a few steps Frank noticed it'd be too short to be a pillar, too narrow... It was Gerard.

The glass of the flash light shattered once it met contact with the cement, the light quickly burned out. Frank was in darkness when he ran to Gerard, his heart clawing his insides. He called his name again.
The figure slowly turned his head, looking down at Frank before looking away again. There was a silence between the two, Frank began pleading to Gerard and he finally responded.

"Go away." He said, his bare feet shifted in the wet slush that still lingered around. His hands rubbed his arms to keep warm. Frank took a step forward but pulled himself back.

"Gerard..what are you doing, You're standing on a bridge, why are you doing this?" There was a pause after each sentence and Gerard mumbled random words during the pause. "Please Gerard."

The two had stood there for a while. They stayed in their same position and Frank kept repeating his words and Gerard grew tired of the same thing over again. He snapped and quickly turned around but his
feet slid on the slush, by instinct his arms held the pillar to keep himself from falling.

"Why do you care.. You don't care. You hate me."

"I do care, it's just.. things have been... Gerard don't do this." Frank stuttered, his hands pulled at his hair and he began pacing.

"I heard you." Gerard whispered. "I heard everything you said.."

"Wha- what did you hear Gerard?" Frank stopped, turning to his brother.

"That you don't want me to be happy." Gerard barked, staring at Frank. His sight was no longer blocked by strands of raven hair like it had been before.

"What the fuc- I never said that. Gerard I swear to god." Frank's voice grew aggressive, taking steps closer to the bridge's edge but pulled himself back. Gerard ignored his words and his head hung over puddles of water by Frank's feet.

"I'm never happy." He mumbled, Frank couldn't understand him.

"Wha- what did you say?"

"Things don't change.. people don't change." Gerard spoke to himself, but faced Frank as he let out another sentence. "You never change."

"Omigod, Gerard, why are you...no just no. My life is hard to okay? We both have problems it's normal. You're not retarded or anything." Frank spoke as he paced in circles. "Don't kill yourself, that's dumb.. that's.. Gerard just come down. You don't want to die you're.. you're just upset now let's go home it's cold." Frank whimpered, feeling the air suffocate his body with cold.

Gerard didn't respond, his head only faced down. His eyes closed tight before he finally looked up again, remembering Frank's face. "I'm already dead."

"Gerard.. wh.. no.., no.. No!" Frank screamed, running to the edge but it was only too late. The water was black, but splashed white and red as the body crashed in the river. Frank continued to reach down as if he could grab his hand. but it was too late.
