Fifty Shades of Way

***Gerard's POV***

I arrived at her house, and parked my car across the street. I quickly made my way around the house, searching for her bedroom window. I ran around towards the back of the house, and saw what looked like the window she had described. There were white, lace curtains which prevented me from looking into her room. I sighed to myself, and gently knocked on the glass. I waited a few seconds before knocking again. I tapped my foot on the ground as I felt my heart almost pounding out of my chest. I saw the curtains rustle a bit, revealing a tear stained Ivy. She flashed me a weak smile before opening the window, and sticking her legs out. I grabbed onto her waist to support her as she hopped onto the ground next to me. I stared into her hazel eyes, studying her face, noticing her nose was bleeding.

"What happened?" my voice filled with concern as I ran my thumb along her cheek. She looked up at me, and shook her head, wrapping her arms around my waist, and resting her head on my chest.

"I just need to get away from here. Please." she whispered

"Ivy, did your mother hurt you?" my voice grew with rage. She took her head off my chest, and looked up at me. Her eyes were red and puffy, and I could see the tears mixed with the blood from her nose stream down her face.

"Please, I just need to get away from here." she repeated, avoiding my question, although the answer was obvious. I looked at her with apologetic eyes, before nodding my head, and grabbing her hand, leading her to my car.

***Ivy's POV***

I held my head low as I sat in his car, waiting for him to drive back to his house. I looked down at my hands, and saw they were shaking. I tried my best to stop them, but it was no use. I closed my eyes, and rested my head on the arm rest connected to my seat. I opened my eyes once I felt Gerard's fingers running through my hair. I looked up at him, flashing him a weak smile, which he soon returned. He leaned down, placing a small kiss on my forehead, before starting the car, and driving off to his house.

I sat on the bathroom counter as Gerard cleaned the blood off my nose with a damp washcloth. Once he was done, I wrapped my arms around his neck, and rested my head on his shoulder. Feeling his body close to mine made my mind stop racing. It was as if I knew I was safe from whatever when I have him near me. He wrapped his arms around my waist, and rested his head on mine. We stayed like this for what seemed like hours, neither of us saying a word.

"What did she do to you?" he whispered, breaking the long silence. I lifted my head off his shoulder, and stared into his eyes, which were filled with concern. I swallowed the hard lump that had formed in my throat, trying my best to compose myself.

“S-She, uhm. She hit me..”

****Flashback****

I heard the footsteps heading towards my door, and immediately panicked. I hugged my knees
to my chest, and buried my face in them. Within a matter of seconds, my door flew open, revealing my already drunk mother. She stumbled towards me, and stared at me with her cold, beady eyes.

“I’m going out.” She slurred. I kept my head on top of my knees, avoiding eye contact. “Did you hear me? I said I’m going out.” She repeated louder this time. I still kept my head down, refusing to look, or acknowledge her presence. I heard her growl, and feel her tight grip on my hair, yanking my head up, forcing me to look at her. “You answer me when I talk to you, do you understand?” she yelled, slapping her hand hard across my face, hitting me directly in the nose. I quickly nodded, and watched as she stumbled out of my room. I waited until I heard the front door slam shut before losing myself, and bursting into tears
