Fifty Shades of Way

***Ivy's POV***

I sat in my empty room, and cried. That was all I could manage to do. I've just been ripped away from Gerard, and my mind was running crazy. I held my knees to my chest, and buried my head in them. I'm too scared to leave my room, and face my infuriated mother. God knows what she'll do to me after all that's happened. I looked over to my side, and saw my phone buzzing. I quickly looked at the caller ID, and saw it was Gerard. I took a deep breath, and let the tears stream down my face as I hit the decline button. I just can't talk to him right now. It would be too much. Besides, what would I say? I sighed, and set my phone back on the nightstand. I'll just call later. I wiped my tears with the sleeve of my shirt, and crawled over to the other side of my room. I got up on my knees, and stared out the window. It's not a very big drop from my room to the ground. I could easily jump getting without getting a scratch. I bit my lip in deep thought. I can't just escape. My mom will find out, and probably get the police involved. I slammed my hand on the windowsill out of frustration, and got up, getting away from the window. I heard my phone buzz again, and I knew it was Gerard calling once again. I bit my lip, and stared at my phone. I took a few deep breaths, trying to calm myself down so the sadness in my voice wouldn't be noticeable.

"H-Hel-"

"Where are you?" Gerard's frantic voice said through the phone.

"I-I-"

"Better yet, why have you been ignoring my calls? Did you listen to my voice-mail? Ivy, why the hell is your car in my driveway, and you're nowhere to be found?"

"Gerard, would you stop cutting me off, and let me speak?"

"Oh, well I'm sorry, I'm just a bit concerned as to why you've completely disappeared!"

"Listen, Gerard. We have a huge problem, and I don’t know what to do, but I’m scared.” I swallowed the lump that began to form in my throat, and closed my eyes tight to prevent any tears from escaping.

“Go on.” His voice had softened to his normal tone.

“M-My mom. She came to the school, a-and found me. She went to the secretary, and made up a bunch of bullshit, and long story short, I’m now back under her control, stuck in my room until god knows when.”

“Your mother is full of shit. Have your bookbag, and things ready, I’ll be over in 10.” his voice filled with rage.

“Wait, what?”

“You heard me. You’re not staying there, and don’t you dare argue with me about this.”

“Gerard, you can’t possibly think this is okay. You can’t come in through the front door, because guess who’s gonna open that front door? Hint, not me.”

“Well then give me a better entrance,”

“Gerard, you’re insane.”

“Give me a better entrance.” he repeated, ignoring my comment.

“There’s only one other entrance that I can think of, and you’d have to be insane to take it.”

“Well, as you said before, I am insane, so tell me.”

“My window…” I murmured. I heard him groan and curse to himself.

“How high from the ground is it?”

“Uh, not too far. But Gerard, wait. You’re not actually gonna climb through my fucking window, right?”

“Of course I am! Now answer my question. How high is it?”

“About three feet. But Gerard you can't ju-”

"Perfect, I'll be there in a few."

"But-" I began to hear footsteps coming up the stairs, and I immediately panicked. “I-I gotta go, bye.” I whisper-yelled into my phone, and hung up before Gerard could protest. I then threw my phone on the nightstand, and sat down with my legs hugged to my chest.

***Gerard’s POV***

I stared blankly at my phone after Ivy hung up. I could hear the panic in her voice as she said goodbye, which caused me to worry even more. Without hesitation, I grabbed my keys off the coffee table, and ran to my car, speeding off to her house.
