Fifty Shades of Way

***Gerard's POV***

I held my head in my hands as I waited for Ivy to get out of the shower. I've decided on making her stay home from school until I know things are cleared up. We can't risk her mother taking her again. I sighed and got up, heading to the kitchen. I grabbed a mug, and poured myself some coffee, hoping the pleasant taste will calm agitated mind. I heard the water from the shower turn off, so I got up, and made another cup, knowing she'll want one when she gets out. Within a few minutes I heard small footsteps making their way into the room. I turn around seeing Ivy wrapped in nothing but a towel. I flashed her a loving smile, and handed her the mug as she sat in the chair across from me.

"How are you feeling?" I asked

"Better. The shower helped me relax a bit." she smiled. I returned the smile and got up.

"I just need to head to the grocery store really quick. You want anything?" she bit her lip in thought, but soon shook her head. "Alright, I'll be back in a few." I leaned down and kissed her forehead, before grabbing my keys, and heading out the door.

I came back finding Ivy sleeping on the couch. I sighed, and placed the bags of groceries on the coffee table. I picked her up bridal style, trying my best not to wake her up, and headed up the stairs to our bedroom. I gently laid her onto the bed, and tucked her in, placing a small kiss on her cheek, before heading back downstairs to make myself dinner.

****Next morning****

I woke up from the repetitive beeps coming from my alarm clock. I slammed my hand onto the clock, making it turn off. I groaned to myself before swinging my legs over the side of the bed, and dragging my feet to the bathroom to wash up.

I looked through my closet finding my black dress pants, vest, sports jacket, converse, and white dress shirt. I changed into my clothes, and stared at myself in the mirror. I then walked over to my sleeping girlfriend, and ran my fingers through her long hair. She shifted a bit, but didn't wake up. I smiled at her before leaning down, and placing a kiss on her cheek where a bruise from her mother's hit had formed. I sighed, running a hand through my uncombed hair, and made my way down the stairs, grabbing my keys, and out the door.

I arrived at the school early as usual, and made my way to the chem lab. I sat down on my stool, and began planning out all of today's lessons.

Before I knew it, the bell rang, and my first period class came flooding into my room. I watched as they all took their seats as I set up the power point, beginning the class.

Since it was my free period, I sat in my room alone, drinking a cup of coffee, and playing online checkers on my computer. As usual, my opponent beat me. I groaned, and rested my head in my hands. This day seems as if its been going on forever, and we haven't even had lunch yet. I began to feel a headache coming on, so I closed my computer half way, and rested my head on my desk.

I heard my computer beep, taking me out of my rest. I opened the computer, seeing I had received an e-mail from the principal. I furrowed my eyebrows as I read it.

-Meet me in my office now.
Mr. Hughes.-

I closed my laptop, and nervously made my way to the main office. I lightly tapped on the door, catching Mr. Hughes attention.

"Mr. Way, please take a seat." he spoke, motioning me to the chairs in front of his desk. I did as he asked, and sat down in one of the cushioned chairs. "It has come to my attention, and to the attention of others, that you have been acting in a inappropriate manner with one of your students. Gerard, is there something going on between you and Ivy Wilde?"
