(Gerard's pov)

I kissed Cassie and stood up. “I’ll be back here in a couple of minutes.” I said and walked outside the room. I can't believe that she has never told me about his brother Vic. I understand that she miss him and that it broke her heart, but I think is better if you tell to someone about something that hurts you because it makes you feel better, or at least for me.

I walked to the living room where Mikey was watching TV. He looked at me. "Is Cassie okay? Why did she run away?" He asked me and I explained him all what Cassie has just told me.

"Do you think you can ask Nathan if Cassie can see his stepbrother?" Just asked to Mikey. "Well... I think is better we don't ask him that directly. Vic, Nathan's stepbrother, is taking care of his other stepbrother in his house. So I can ask Nathan to see if Ray is okay so I can go to his house where Vic will be and you and Cassie can come with me." Mikey said. "Okay." I said.

He picked up his phone and called Nathan.

"Hey, babe! What's up?" Mikey said. It was weird watching this. He listened to whatever Nathan was saying and then he spoke again. "Cool. By the way, how's Ray?" Mikey asked and listened to Nathan's answer. "Do you think I can go to see how he's doing?" Mikey asks and waited for the answer again. "Okay, see you there, then. But the way I'm bringing my brother and his girlfriend." Then he hang up and smiled at me. "We will see him tomorrow." He said. "Thanks Mikes, Cassie will be very happy."

“In one hour we are going to discover if Nathan’s stepbrother is your lost brother, are you excited?” I asked Cassie. She looked me with sad eyes. “I don’t know…” She muttered. “Why?” Mikey asked confused. But before she could answer, Frank interrupted. “Who’s Nathan? Does Cassie have a brother? Why I don’t know what are you guys talking about?” Frank asked confused.

“Nathan is Mikey’s boyfriend, the boy you saw yesterday with Mikey. Cassie had a brother but he disappeared. And you didn’t know anything about this because yesterday you decided to take a nap.” I explained to Frank. “I needed a nap, I was tired.” He said. “How’s that possible? You sleep almost all day.” I said. “I’m special.” Frank aid and laughed.

“Okay… Cassie, you were about to answer, didn’t you?” Mikey said looking at Cassie. “I’m afraid that he has forgotten me for any reason.” Cassie said. “Why would he have forgotten you?” Mikey asked her. “If my parents abandoned him at hospital, when he woke up, why didn’t he come back home?” Cassie said. “Well… I don’t know…” Mikey said. “Guys, I think we should start walking to Ray’s house.” I said looking at the clock. Mikey and Cassie nodded. “Who’s Ray?” Frank asked and the three of us ignored him.

Mikey knocked at the door and a boy opened the door. Mikey kissed him so, I guess he was Nathan. Mikey introduced us to Nathan and Nathan to us. Then we walked inside the house to a room where I saw a guy with an afro lying on a bed, Ray I guess.

Then another guy came into the room handing Ray a glass of water. “Hey, Vic. This is my brother, his girlfriend and a guy that seems to be a friend of mine that I don’t really know what he is doing here.” Mikey said to Vic. “I’m Frank.” Frank said. “I’m Gerard.” I said and then we looked at Cassie but she kept in silence.

Vic looked at him too. Probably wondering why is she that quiet. “Hey girl. Why are you so quiet? I don’t bite.” Vic said to Cassie. She looked at him, that’s when I saw that they have the same eyes. “My name is… is… Cassie…” She muttered.
