(Mikey's pov)

“I’m going to be out today too.” I said after Frank went outside the house and tried to walk outside but my brother stopped me. “Where are you going?” He asked. Fuck, I can’t tell him where I’m going, he doesn’t know anything... “I’m… I’m… going to Alice’s house with Kindle, Ruby Lee and Jazmin.” I said. That was the best thing that came to my mind in that moment. “Really? So if I want something from you, I can call to anyone of them.” He said. “NO!” I yelled scared, if he called them he would know I’m not there. “Where are you going and with who are you going?” He asked. “Gerard, I don’t care if you are my older brother, you don’t have to be controlling me all the time!” I yelled and ran outside the house.

I walked towards the park where I will see Nathan. I met him like two weeks ago in the music store. I was looking for CDs I didn’t have. I saw American Idiot by Green Day, I love Green Day. how could I don’t have this album? I took it and went to pay.

“Hey, I would like to buy this.” I said to the guy of the store. I looked at him and guessed he would be eighteen or nineteen. He had short brown hair and green eyes. “Sure. Oh, you like Green day?” He asked smiling. What a stupid question. “That’s why I’m buying it.” I said and he laughed. “You’re are right. You know what? I’ll give it to you free.” The boy said smiling. Why did he wanted to give it to me free? “Really?” I asked surprised. “Only if you come with me later to drink some coffee.” He said. Wait… Is he flirting with me? I like girls. “I’m not gay, you know?” I said. He looked sad. “Okay… well, at least come with me.” Well… if he is going to give me the album free and he knows I’m not gay, there’s nothing wrong, I guess.

We walked to the nearest Starbucks. We came in, ordered our coffee and sat there. We talked about our music taste, that was very similar, to not say equal. He was very nice and funny. But when we finished our coffees, he leaned over me and… kissed me. But the weirdest part about that was… that I liked it. I fucking loved it and I wanted more.

I saw Nathan sitting on a bench in the park, waiting for me. “Hey, Nathan.” I said smiling. He looked at me when I sat next to him. “Hey.” He said. “Mikey… I forgot that today I was going to visit one of my stepbrothers, he is ill…” Nathan muttered. “If you want, I can go with you.” I suggested. “It would be awesome!” He said with a huge smile on his face. Then he got near me and kissed me. When the kiss finished, we stared at each others eyes for some seconds. We stood up and started walking towards his stepbrother’s house.

Walking towards there, I saw Frank. “Hey, Mikey... Who are you?” He asked to Nathan witha suspicious look. “I’m his b-” “Best friend.” I interrupted him, I didn’t want Frank to tell Gerard, if someone is saying to him, it would be me.

We continued our way and Nathan looked at me confused. I explained to him that he was my brother’s friend and I wanted to be the one who tells my brother that I’m dating a guy.

We came into his stepbrother’s house. We saw him laying down on a bed. “Hey, Ray! How are you?” Nathan asked to him. “I’m feeling better.” He said. “That’s cool. Erm… Look, this is Mikey my boyfriend. Mikey, this is Ray, on of my stepbrothers.” Nathan said. They explained me that they were all adopted. Nathan from an orphanage, Ray rescued from the streets and he had another step brother that was abandoned in hospital.

Suddenly someone came into the room too. “Oh, hey.” Ray said. “Hey.” The guy said and then he looked confused at me. “Oh, he is Mikey, my boyfriend.” Nathan said to him. “Okay, nice to meet you Mikey, I’m Vic.”
