(Gerard's pov)

“Did you hear that love? We don’t need to hide the world anymore that we are dating.” I told her wishing she hears that and wake up. Thinking of that made me smile a little, but my smile quickly faded away because I realized that it was stupid.

She just stayed there, lying in that horrible hospital bed, with her eyes closed, with her mouth shut. She seemed like she was sleeping, like if I do any loud song she would wake up and yelled at me because she was having a great dream. I bet anyone in this hospital have tried to do a loud noise. There’s nothing to lose.

I walked towards a big machine that was there. It was just there, no one was using it, I didn’t even know what it is used for. So I pushed it and it fell down causing the loud sound I was searching for. I looked at Cassie. Nothing. She still there, like nothing have happened.

“Gerard! What the fuck?!” Mikey said and ran and grabbed me by the shoulders staring at my eyes. “What are you doing?” I asked. “Trying to see by the expression of your eyes if you are insane.” He explained while Frank and the girls stayed there looking scared. “I’m not insane.” I said. “You fucking tried to kill yourself a month ago, that’s not normal.” He said with a worried look. “Cassie used to harm herself and that’s not normal. But she wasn’t insane, she was just lost, like me right now.” I said.

“Okay, Gerard. No more Cassie for today, we are going back home.” Mikey said and tried to push me outside the room, but I was stronger than him and he couldn’t pushed me. “I don’t want to go home, today is Cassie’s birthday and I want to stay with her.” I said letting go of him. “Frank, help me.” He said and with they both pushed me out of the room where Cassie was.

The girls walked towards me. “I’m sorry, I also wish that Cassie wakes up.” Ruby Lee said to me with a sad look. “Stop being sorry and help me to come back inside the room.” I said and Frank and Mikey started to pulling of me to get me out of hospital while Mikey said to the girls to ignore me and the people that was there looked at us scared.

Mikey handed me some macarroni. “Here, Gerard, you need to eat something.” He said. “I don’t want to eat now.” I wasn’t hungry after what happened today at hospital, I wanted to spend the day with Cassie, even if she doesn’t speak or even look at me, it was her birthday and I needed to be with her.

“You need to eat something, Gerard.” Mikey said. “I will eat if you let me go to see Cassie tomorrow.” I said. “You are not seeing Cassie until I see you are better.” He said. “Okay, no Cassie, no food.” I said. “I’m going to bed. Frank, stay with him and make sure he eats.” Mikey said. Frank nodded and sat next to me while Mikey walked towards his room.

“Eat.” He said but I didn’t eat. Some minutes later of observing me without a result, he fell asleep. What should I do now? I wanted to see Cassie tomorrow, but with Mikey here I can’t go without being spotted. I saw that Frank’s phone was on the table. His girlfriend… she seems nice, maybe she lets me stay this night at her house and tomorrow I would go to hospital without Mikey knowing where I am. I took his phone and called Esther.

“Hey, Frank!” Esther answered happily the call. “I’m Gerard.” I said. “Why are you calling me from Frank’s phone?” She asked confused. “Because I don’t have your number. Can I sleep at your house tonight? I want to see Cassie tomorrow but Mikey wouldn’t let me go there.” I said. “I’m not sure, Gerard… If they don’t let go visit her tomorrow, they would have a reason.” She said. “Esther, imagine that you are in my situation, wouldn’t you do the same for Frank?” I said hoping that make her change her mind. “Okay…” She muttered. Yay! She said me her address and I quietly came outside my house.

This chapter was kinda sad too... I saw that the unicorn Mikey didn't cheer you up last chapter, now I'm going to try with Gerard's reaction to a cup coffe. (Yes, I draw a lot, I like drawing.)
