(Frank's pov)

*Four months later*

I walked inside the Starbuck my baby works, I wanted to give her a surprise while she is working. I looked around and saw her giving the order to two teenagers. I walked towards her thinking, what did I order the first time I saw her? Was it a vanilla iced latte? Yeah, it was that.

“Excuse me girl, would you mind giving me a vanilla iced latte?” I said acting like I didn’t know her. “Of course, sir. Wait a moment, please.” She said and went to prepare it. When she came back she handed to me. “Your job is to keep the consumers happy, isn’t it?” I said smirking and she nodded. “Well, I won’t be happy until someone sits with me.” “Erm… I can ask one of my partners to sit with you…” She said. Damn, she learned to joke, I have missed her…

We walked towards a table next to a window. “I haven’t see you in a long time.” She said and kissed me. “Yeah, but you know what Gerard did… I had to help Mikey to take care of him…” I said and remember this last month with Gerard. “Yeah… I couldn’t believe it when you told me that he tried to himself… I can’t understand why he did that…” She said looking to nowhere. “Well, if you think it correctly, you can understand it.” I said. “What? How could you understand that? Frank!” She said in shock.

“Just imagine his situation… Imagine I run away thinking you cheated on me, then you follow me trying to explain it to me, to try and say that’s not true, but I jump off a bridge and when you try to save me you fall down with me. Then you wake up two weeks later in hospital and when you ask the nurses where am I, they tell you that they are not sure if I ever going to wake up.” I explained and she gave me a sad look. “I would wait.” She said. “That’s what Gerard did for two months, visiting her everyday to see if she wakes up, but there wasn’t a signal of she waking up, so he decided to give up. Thank god that Mikey stopped him.” I said. “Yeah… And you didn’t let him go to visit her since he tried that.” She said. “Yes, but we told him that today we will let him visit her.” I said. “Why today?” She asked. “We haven’t told him yet, but today, Cassie turns eighteen.”

“Come on, Gerard, smile, you are seeing Cassie again.” Mikey tried to cheer up Gerard as we were walking to hospital. “But, she wouldn’t see me, exactly like last time, she would just stay there, on the bed, with her eyes closed, like she was sleeping.” Mikey and I exchanged worried looks, we didn’t know what to say now. After that, we three stayed all the way to hospital in silence.

We came into the room Cassie was and took off our jackets. I looked at Gerard, I could still see the mark from the rope on his neck. If there is really a god up there I really thank him for letting Gerard stay with us.

Suddenly four girls, like about Mikey and Cassie’s age came into the room. Gerard looked at them. “Hey, Gerard.” The girls said and Gerard answered them almost whispering. “Hey…”

Mikey came towards me. “They are Kindle, Alice, Ruby Lee and Jazmin. Cassie’s friends.” He explained me whispering. Cassie’s friend went towards Cassie and wished her happy birthday. Gerard heard it and looked confused.

“Is Cassie’s birthday?” He asked looking at us. “Yes, that’s why we decided to brought you here today. Cassie is now eighteen.” Mikey explained. Then Gerard took Cassie’s hand and kissed her forehead. “Did you hear that love? We don’t need to hide the world anymore that we are dating.” He said. And I swear I saw a little smile on his face, it faded away, but I swear he smiled for first time after that terrible day.
