(Gerard's pov)

“Okay, out of the classroom now.” I said to Cassie. I had to act like nothing happened, like she wasn’t staying at my house, so her classmates wouldn’t suspect anything. She went out of the classroom and some minutes later I decided to go there too, I wanted to know why she harmed herself yesterday. Was it my fault? “Mikey told me you cut yourself yesterday, why?” She ignored my question and asked me: “Why did you kiss me?” “I asked you first.” “I don’t care. Why did you kiss me?” Fuck! How should I answer that? “Cassie… I… I’m sorry, I knew that was wrong, I’m your teacher and I know you didn’t like it… I’m so sorry… I…” I didn’t know what to say, but in my try to explain that, she… kissed me. I kissed back and she placed her perfect arms around my neck. Her lips were soft and very cold, it was the perfect kiss. Why did she kiss me? When our lips separated, she looked at my eyes with her precious green eyes. We looked at each other in silence that suddenly was interrupted by the bell. I decided to come back to class before anyone could see us there.

When I finished all my lessons I went to my house. I started to cook some macaroni when Mikey and Cassie arrived. They sat there waiting for me to finish cooking. We started eating and Mikey asked: “I know I have asked this many times but… Could you two tell me what happened yesterday?” Cassie and I shook our heads. “Okay… but, are you two alright?” My brother asked. Cassie said “Yep” and I nodded. “Today you aren’t very talkative.” He said. Seeing that we stilled without saying anything, he spoke again. “So, anything interesting to say?” I instantly thought about Cassie kissing me before, I needed to know why she kissed me, was it for the same reason that I had for kissing her yesterday? Does she like me the way I like her? Even if I didn’t know the answer that kiss was perfect.

“No, nothing.” Cassie said answering Mikey. Then he looked at me confused. “Gerard? Why are you smiling?” Fuck! I smiled thinking of the kiss! “I finished.” Cassie said and walked to my room. When Mikey made sure that she was gone, he looked at me. “Okay, Gerard. Please, tell me what’s going on between you and Cassie.” What could I tell him? I wasn’t going to say him that I kissed her yesterday and today she was the one kissed me. Wait a second… he’s my little brother, I’m older than him, I didn’t have to answer him if I didn’t want to. “It’s not of your business.” I said and stood up.

I needed to correct some drawings, so I walked towards my room, where I saw Cassie talking on the phone. I waited for her to finish talking. When she hanged up, she looked at me confused. “What happens?” I asked her. “Like I told you, Kindle was coming back to her house with Dean today. So I called her to know if she was okay and she have told me that Dean wasn’t there. And that’s weird because he always eat at home, he hates eating outside.” She explained. “Well, at least Kindle isn’t in trouble.” “Yeah…”

Now we both kept in silence. It was my chance, I needed to ask her. “By the way… why… why did you kiss me before?” I asked her. “Why did you kiss me yesterday?” Not again! She was avoiding my questions again! “I asked you first.” I said. “But you kissed me first.” Well, fuck... You know what? Fuck everything! I’m going to tell her. “I kissed you because I think… I think I like you.”
