Vampires Will Never Hurt You

He laughs and clears his throat. "Okay," Chase starts "I was born in 1964, yeah I know, long time ago, so when I was 5 or 6, my whole family threw this big party because my aunt was graduating from college. Right after dinner, these four people, aka the Way clan at the time, burst into the house. After a few minutes everyone in the house was dead, except my aunt and I. I remember she had grabbed me by the hand and was pulling me toward the back door, telling me to stay quiet. Suddenly one of them appeared out of nowhere, right in front of us. He grabbed my aunt by the shoulders and bit into her neck. I backed away trying to hide from him. Suddenly the man stopped drinking from my aunt, whose name was Donna by the way, sorry got tired of saying 'my aunt'... Anyway, he let go and started looking around the room. That's when he noticed me. He said 'Kid get out of here now! Go!" So I ran right out the back door and didn't stop until the police found me. They questioned me and I told then exactly what happened. The didn't believe me, nobody did." I was put up for adoption since my entire family had died that night. A few months later a couple came and took me from the orphanage. Turns out these people were vampire hunters. So I was raised to be a hunter. Ten years later I was out in these very woods at night with two others from my group. They were extremely cocky and rude. I hated them, I hated the way my life was headed. I didn't want to be a hunter, especially not after on saved my life. Anyway we came upon a couple with a young black haired red eyed child. I hope you see where I'm going with this. We instantly knew they we vamps due to the eyes. The chick, who I had also noticed was pregnant, grabbed the boy and ran off while one of the hunters went after them. The other on had backed the guy up against a tree. But me, I froze. I reconized the couple. It was my aunt Donna and the vampire who saved my life. I later found out his name was Don." I have to laugh at that one. Don and Donna. Chase looks at me. "What?" I ask "Nothing" Chase answers "Continuing, without thinking I shot an arrow through my fellow hunter, killing him. Don stared at me amazed. I was all like 'Dude go save your family!' so he ran off after them. When I finally caught up to them they were finishing off the other hunter. Then they turned on me. I began to panic, and told them who I was. Donna realized I was telling the truth and Don offered to Change me which I of course accepted. Of course I now have a huge bounty over my head for betraying the hunters but I'll be fine. And that my friend is how I became a vampire! Oh look we've arrived at your place." I look up and see that we are indeed back the house. I sigh. Chase grabs my hand and starts to lead me in. "Come on," he says "I'll text the guys. Lets just hope Gerard doesn't try to kill you"
