Vampires Will Never Hurt You

Summary

The tears blinding his eyes, he stumbled into someone and they both fell, papers scattering all over the floor. The drawings fell out of his art book, mixing with the papers from the other person’s notes. He looked up, his eyes widening as he took in the most breath taking sight, but also widening in fear. The constant attacks had made him panicky and anxious, afraid of the abuse that would be inflicted upon him at the slightest misstep. Surprisingly, the boy simply gazed back at him.

“I’m sorry,” the short teenager apologized. He began picking up the papers as did the other boy, one paper in particular catching his eye. It looked like song lyrics with guitar chords written above the words. The title of the messy page being- “The Only Hope for Me is You”. A curious name for a song. The teenager quickly gathered his things together, hoping that the other person hadn’t seen his artwork. Just has he was about to leave, the other boy spoke.
