Frank Iero
A 20-Year Old master choreographer and principal dancer with American Ballet Theater. He is usually always collaborating with Gerard, taking care of all the choreography while he directs. He also teaches all the morning classes and warms everyone up before shows. He is known as the prankster of the company and also the party guy. He often stirs up trouble with Gerard for praying on young female dancers in the company.
Gerard Way
A 25-Year Old artistic director with American Ballet Theater. He is world-renowned and highly acclaimed as one of the best directors and choreographers of his time. He is often praised as a creative genius and mastermind for his highly successful protégés and the many ballets he's created. He makes all the executive decisions for the company and is left with the task of renewing contracts at the end of the year, making him the guy everyone wants to be nice to.
Helena Pavlova
A 17-Year Old classically trained dancer who has been the top student at Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet for 10 years. She is of Russian decent and moved to America to sign her first contract with a major company and also to study under Gerard. She takes the dance world by fire almost overnight. A lot of the dancers in the company envy her and question her relationship with Gerard. The older ones especially see her as a threat that needs to be eliminated. Who is this kid stealing their roles?
Marie Jean-Mathieu
A 19-Year Old classically trained dancer from France. She was scouted by Gerard and brought to America to dance with his company. She garners a lot of attention for her flawless technique and romantic style of dance. She was taught directly by legendary ballerina Alessandra Ferri, equipping her with both Italian and French methods in her dancing. Both coming from Europe, her and Helena quickly form a close bond.
Mikey Way
A 22-year Old classically trained dancer with American Ballet Theater. He is the younger brother of director Gerard Way but certainly doesn't get any special treatment. Gerard is actually harder on him than most of the dancers and kept him in the Corps de ballet for 5 years. Mikey is hardworking and hopes to separate himself from being 'Gerard's little brother' to just being 'Mikey Way'. He is shy and often described as the company's sweetheart.
Rosie Estefanía
A 36-Year Old prima ballerina of American Ballet Theater. Being the prima ballerina of such a large company, she is well respected and well-known across the country. Some say she is nearing the end of her career making her fight for her spot even more viciously than she ever has before. She sees Helena as a huge threat as she herself used to be Gerard's favorite. She will stop at nothing to kick Helena off her high horse.
I'm really late on this fuck
but, as a professionaly trained ballet dancer, I have to admit that I felt honestly bad when I read Mikey's character description. The corps for FIVE years?? God, I would chop off my feet. I mean, I want to chop off my feet anyway (pointe work really sucks) but you get what I'm saying.
