The One That Got Away
Chapter 27
Franks’ P.O.V
I woke up when I heard the front door close. The first thing that came to mind was all the pain I was in. The second thing that I registered was that there was two pills and a glass full of water on the coffee table there.
After staring at the pills and water for a while I decided it would suit me better if I was to drink them. After taking them I layed back down on the couch and thought about what had just happened to me. Jared had beat me because Gerard was looking at me and he thought that I liked him. ‘But you do’, shut up subconscious! Gerard came back though... I’m not quite sure why though... I do remember him saying it was something to do with his keys. After he found me he gasped then picked me up and took me to the living room where he asked me who did this to me. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t answer his question. He made a frustrated noise and then slammed the door shut.
My last thought was that Gerard saved me.
Gerard.
After that I fell asleep.
Gerards’ P.O.V
My mom gave me a brief questioning session, but I calmed all her worries by telling her that Frank surprised me when had a coughing fit. She told me that it was the beginning of that time of year when everyone got sick and I simply agreed with her to end the game of 21 questions that she was so persistent to continue playing.
When I got home Mikey asked me the REAL questions.
“What happened? How did it happen? Are you hurt? Is Frank hurt?”
“Franks’ boyfriend beat him up, so I kicked his ass. I followed him into an alley and we fought. No and a bit yeah.”
“Wow, bro you kicked Jareds’ ass... sweet!” Mikey said high fiving me.
