Frank’s P.O.V

He came out of the alley and stood right next to me.

“You know Frankie, I’ve been thinking about what happened between me and you and I think that we should try it again.”

“I hate the way you talk to me, and the way you cut your hair. I hate the way you drive my car, I hate it when you stare. I hate your big dumb combat boots and the way you read my mind. I hate you so much it makes me sick. it even makes me rhyme. I hate the way you’re always right, I hate it when you lie. I hate it when you make me laugh, even worse when you make me cry. I hate it when you’re not around, and the fact that you didn’t call. But mostly I hate the way I don’t hate you, not even close… not even a little bit… not even at all.”

“Are you fucking kidding me!?! No! Never in a million years would I ever go out with you again!”

“Come on Frankie, lets get you home” André said defensively. I nodded and followed him with tears silently falling down my cheeks. I climbed into the car with help from André, he gave me a worried glance before he went around the car and we drove home in silence.

After we asked Austin if he was okay and put him to bed (the dumbass kissed some dudes girlfriend) André and I headed up to his room. After we changed into our pyjamas he asked me the question that had been burning behind his eyes ever since he got into the car, “how was it seeing him again?”

“André I honestly have no idea with how to deal with all of this. Even though he was an asshole, he was my first boyfriend and my first love. André what am I gonna do?”

“I dunno Frankie, I thought you were over this, over him.”

“So did I but seeing him again I see that nothing has changed. He’s still super charming and him being near me is just.... intoxicating. I want to stab him in the neck with a fork, but at the same time I want to cuddle with him and just lay under the cold sheets and just be in each others company.”

“Oh Frankie, I’m sorry this had to happen to you...”

“I’m not.”

“What do you mean you don’t?” André asked startled.

“He showed me love, André, and he also showed me to never again look for a perfect person to share my life with. I want a work in progress, not a masterpiece.”

“But its that what Gerard is to you?” he asked.

“No, well yes, well... with him it’s different because he looks and acts perfect... but when you look into his eyes, they show so much more. They show passion, fear, mystery, happiness, and just love André. I love him.”

“Okay Frankie, how about we go to sleep and tomorrow we can talk this over with Austin and coffee?”
