Chapter 9
"You wanna move back?" Frankie asked.
"Yeah I do, but Gerard really loves New York and his school and everything, I do to, I just miss everyone here and New Jersey to much. But Gerard and ugh!" I groaned and flopped back down on Mikey's bed.
"I miss you to and I want you here. So you know what I'm voting you do."
"Why cant you, Mrs. and Mr. Way, Mikey and Ray just pack up all your things and move to New York with us?" I asked.
"Cause were Jersey's at heart, and trust me Gerard wants to come back to Jersey to." He said the last part in a shushed voice.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
He moved to the door and locked it then came back to me and spoke in a quite tone "When we were still in high school he told me he was unhappy being in New York, like he loved it and all but he was just unhappy. He thought it was because you went there with him. But when you moved he told me he was 1000x happier but there was still something that made him unhappy about being there."
"He never told me that."
"He didn't want to you to make any rash decisions about moving there because of him, that's why he told me not to tell you." He said and then laid back.
"Wow." I said, "Then it's for sure then, were moving back."
"Good." He said wrapping his arm around me. "I've missed you like crazy, and I need your help planning my wedding." He said.
"OH MY GWAD MY BESTI IS GETTING MARRIED!!!!" I screamed and hugged him even more.
"Yes, yes I am, now please let me breath." He said and let him go. I also stood up and unlocked the door.
"Will you be my best man?" He asked.
"I would love to." I said, "So when is the big day?" I asked.
"December 14th maybe." He said, "We both want it in December."
"Great I'll be huge by then." I said and ran my hand along my stomach.
"You'll be perfect to me." Gerard said coming from behind me and wrapped his arms around my stomach.
"Thanks." I said and kissed him, "Okay, I'm going to go assure your mom I'm good and everything." I said walking out of the room and downstairs to find Mrs.Way doing something in the kitchen.
"Donna....?"
She turned around to see me and gave me a sad smile and opened her arms up to me. I walked over to her and hugged her.
"So, I'm gonna be a grandma. I'm so happy, and so is Donald. I truly am sorry about your mother, the two of you are welcomed here anytime you two want." She told me.
"Thank you." I said. "Do you need any help?" I asked and gestured to the food she had cut up on the counter.
"I am out of basil and tomatoes, if you wouldn't mind running to the store?" She asked.
"Sure thing." I said and headed out of the kitchen and stopped at the door. "Gerard!" I yelled.
"What?" He said coming down the stairs.
"Your mom needs food, come with me?" I asked.
"Sure." He said and we left the house and headed to the store
"Do you wanna move back?" I asked on the drive.
"What?"
"Do you wanna move back? To Jersey."
"Why?"
"Gerard." I said not liking his game of questions.
"Tammy." He said mimicking me.
"I'm trying to be serious." I said and play punched his arm while he was parking. It made him laugh.
"Why? Do you wanna, move back?" He asked as we walked in.
"Yes I do." I answered.
"Then we'll move back." He said walking down and aisle. I stopped walking and grabbed his arm and stopped him.
"Gerard!" I said, "Will you please fucking stop trying to please and make a god damn choice that is 100% about you!" I said a bit more loudly than I should have.
"Tammy." He said grabbing my shoulder, "What's wrong?"
"Tell me what you want. Please. I thank you for loving me as much as you do which is way more than I deserve, but please this choice is about more than just what I want. So please answer me."
"I love you, and you deserve every bit of it." He said and kissed me. "And yes, I do wanna move back home, I've missed this place so much. I just thought you really liked NY, so I kept quite."
"Next time your unhappy, please tell me." I said.
We finished shopping and stopped in the baby section just looking at things. It was overwhelming how much a baby needs and how in a few months I would have my very own.
********Time Lapse, (A few months)************
Ge and I had fully transferred to schools in New York and moved back to New Jersey. We got another apartment, 2 bedrooms and in the same complex as Frankie and Ray. I hadn't heard anything from Rick or on his case so I just stopped worrying about it. My mom and I still haven't talked yet. I also helped Frankie plan his wedding, a lot. Today was December 13th, the day before his wedding and me and him were staying at a hotel, just him and I. Gee was with Ray.
I was also 6 months pregnant with my baby and I was so huge. Gerard and I found out it was a girl. I was so happy and so was he. Her little room was almost ready for her, all it needed was some more clothes and her. Right now I was sitting on the hotel bed running my hand along my stomach, where every I would place my hand she would kick. It was a game we played a lot.
"So everything is ready for us tomorrow right? Like my suit is pressed and, the guest list is made right?" Frankie said jumping around the room looking for something.
"Everything is all good and ready, and no, I'm not calling the planner again. Its 11pm and we have called her 7 times today." I told him.
"Are you sure?"
"I swear if you make me get up I will slap you." I said.
"God, your a bitch when your pregnant." He said sitting on the bed with me and placed his hands on my stomach and she started to kick where he put his hand. "I still cant believe your having a baby, and I'm getting married. We so old."
"Were still under 20." I said resting my head back, then the baby kicked my bladder making me have to get up from the bed to pee.
"Fuck me." I said getting up with a grunt and heading to the bathroom.
"Isn't that what got you there in the first place?" Frankie yelled after me.
********Time Lapse (1 Day)********
Frank and Rays wedding was amazing, I have never seen to people love each other as much as these to do. I had to give a small speech and I was crying the entire way through. Gerard either was holding my hand the entire time or had a hand on my bump. We danced for as long as my feet would let me, which wasn't much for being 6 months pregnant.
Gee didn't complain though, the only thing that got me off my chair was that Frankie and Ray wanted to dance with me. We stayed a few more hours before Gee took us home, saying he could tell I couldn't take much more. I didn't argue and went along with him. We had gotten home and Gerard wanted to shower so I just sat on our bed and striped off my shoes. I remembered my phone and how I wanted to send Frankie a text before he leaves for his honeymoon.
While I was fishing through my purse I had taken with me to the wedding, I came across a letter before my phone. I didn't remember putting a letter in my purse but being pregnant, I don't remember much, I pulled it out to find it's addressed to me. I thought that was weird because my purse never left my side the entire night. I opened it and read;
Dear Tammy,
Miss me? I have missed you, sorry it's taken me so long to reach you. You have been very difficult to find, but don't worry baby, now that I found you, I wont let you go. Don't be so surprised if you see me soon, actually, expect it. You and I belong together and I know you know that. Oh and for that... thing.... inside you, don't worry I'll take care of it for you.
