Chapter 4
"So dear, how many grandkids can we expect?" Donna asked as I was sipping my cider.
When I heard those words I started to choke on my drink and Gee had to some around and start patting my back.
"Mom!" Gerard said.
"What?" She asked innocently. "I would like to know."
"Donna...." Mr.Way said.
"Were not even thinking of kids, hell. We haven't even moved in with each other yet." Gerard said as he sat back down.
"Well I want some." She said crossing her arms.
I felt a little awkward so I stayed quite and played with my food, I could feel my cheeks starting to burn...
"Maybe later mom." Gerard said.
I thought it was safe to take another drink of cider, but Mrs. Way just proved me wrong with another question.
"What about marriage?" She asked and I started to choke again, Gee got up yet again to pat my back.
"Donna, your gonna kill the poor girl." Donald said pointing at me.
"Mom, just. Stop. Please." Gerard said sitting back down.
"But-" She started.
"How about we run to the store for some ice-cream and a apple pie? Sound good?" Donald said standing up from his seat, along with Gee.
"Great idea!" Gee said pulling his mom to her feet and escorted her and his father out the door.
"But we were having a lovely-" Donna said as she was being shoved out of the door.
"Don't come back without the pie!" Gee said as he shut and locked the door, he cursed under his breath and turned back to me. "Well that was..."
"Awkward." I finished.
"Yeah." He said running his hand through his hair and started to clean up the dinning room.
While he cleaned I just sat in my seat thinking. Would Gee and I ever get married? Or have kids? Damn Donna. I love Gee and everything and I cant imagine my life without him, but do I want kids? Not really. But does Gee? Like, I mean I might want one or maybe two. But what if he wants an army of them? Ugh, this is too much to think about.
I was lost in thought when Gee placed a wine glass in front of me on the table. I was shocked and looked up at him.
"What?" I asked.
"Drink." He commanded, "I'm sorry about my mother... I didn't know she would.... you know..."
"Its fine." I said drinking, "I was just.... thinking."
"For almost 10 minutes?"
"What? 10 minutes? Wouldn't your parents be back by now?" I asked.
"I texted them, telling them not to come back over."
"That's kinda rude." I said taking another drink.
"Not really," He said pulling up a chair. "So what were you thinking about?"
"Stuff." I muttered.
"You were thinking about having kids with me and marriage, weren't you?" He asked.
"How'd ya know?" I asked sarcastically.
"I was too." He said truthfully.
"Really?"
"Yup, I dont know if you wanna have this conversation right now but I kinda do."
"Why the hell not?" I said drinking the rest of the glass in one drink making him laugh and kiss my cheek.
"I do wanna marry you..." He said turning the other way.
"As do I." I said looking at him, he looked back with a smile that could split his face in two.
"So does that kinda make us engaged?" He asked in a small voice.
"Aw hell no!" I said standing up then sat on his lap and wrapped arm around his neck and he wrapped both his arms around my waist. "You gotta get your ass down on one knee and make me feel like I'm the most beautiful and perfect girl in the world."
"Will do." He laughed and kissed me lightly, and I deepened it. Then pulled away.
"What about kids?" I asked.
"Hmm." He said putting on a thinking face, "You know? I never thought about that. I might like one or two in the future."
"Oh thank God." I breathed into his neck.
"What?" He chuckled and I removed my face from his neck.
"I thought you might have wanted an army or something." I said making him laugh.
"Come on." He said getting me off of him and taking my hand and leading me to the stairs.
He led me up them and into my room. He closed the door and came to stand behind me. He brushed my hair to one side of my neck and wrapped his arms around my waist. He started to kiss my neck and leave a light trail making me shiver.
"Gee..." I mumbled.
"Hmm?" He said, his lips not leaving my neck.
"Not tonight." I said not moving.
"I know." He mumbled and moved his hands to my zipper, unzipping my dress and letting it fall to the floor.
He went back to kissing my neck and ran his hands along the side of my body. Making me moan. He brought his hands to the back of my bra and unhooked it, then brought his hands to the front of my breast, gave them a squeeze and pulled off my bra. then he took a step back. I heard some ruffling of clothes then heard him say;
"Arms up." And I did what I was told and I found his hoodie being pulled over my covering my body down to my thighs.
I turned to him and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him for a long time. He brought his hands to my ass and pulled me up so he was carrying me and my legs were wrapped around his waist. We stayed like that for a few minutes until he started moving us to my bed, and he gently placed me on my bed. Then he stood back up, removed his shirt and pants and crawled under the sheets with me. I turned away so he was scooping me and he wrapped his arms around me tightly, and kissed the back of my hair.
"I love you," He whispered into my hair. "And don't you ever forget that."
"How can I ever?" I asked and kissed his hand, "I love you too." Then we both fell into a long sleep.
