Bulletproof Heart
Chapter 5
We both woke up to the sound of a shutter and bright light. And very familiar giggling.
"You guys are just to cute, I couldn't resist." Frankie said giggling.
I opened my eyses and turned around to see Frankie still laughing and Ray right behind his wrapping his arms around his waist. I looked to Gee to see him staring at the same thing, he just shook his head and turned over to me and peck my lip's.
"Hey beautiful." He said smiling.
"Hey." I smiled back.
"I'd hate to interrupt but we have our test in about 30 minutes Tammy." Frankie said.
"I'll drive her." Gee offered getting out of bed and pulling his pants on.
"No, cause then I wont have a ride back, I'll drive myself." I said getting out of bed, "I'll meet you at school guys, Bye!" I said shoving Ray and Frankie out the door.
Once they were out I ran around my room getting dressed, doing my hair, and doing my makeup all under 10 minutes. My personal best, if I may add. Gee and I went downstairs togther and had some toast. We kissed goodbye as we got into our car's and then headed to our school's.
The rest of the week went by pretty slowly. I hung out with Ray, Mikey, and Frankie a lot and either texted or was on the phone with Gee everyday. Unfortunately he had to cancel on our plans of him spending the night on Friday, I was kinda bummed out about it but he said he was still gonna make it to my Graduation.
On the morning of Graduation, I let my mom curl my hair and take about five thousand pictures of me in my gown. Around 20 minutes before we were supposed to leave, Frankie came over in his gown, he was gonna ride with us. My mother took about another five thousand pictures of the two of us. I got a text from Gee saying he would be a bit late and meet me at the school.
When we were at the school, just before we were supposed to take our spots on stage, Gee found me. He ran over to me and picked me up into his arm's and spun me around telling me how proud he was of me. And when it was my turn to grab my diploma, I think he and Frankie were the loudest in the whole school.
When we were official high school graduates, my mom took about another five thousand of Gee, Frankie and I. My mom wanted to go out and celebrate with me, she asked Gerard if he wanted to join us, but he said he didn't want to intrude on his family moment. I think my mom really liked that.
"I'm really gonna miss you." She said as we finished our meal.
"Mom, I'm still gonna visit and everything." I told her.
"I know, it just your my baby," She was starting to get chocked up on her words, "Without you in the house I'm gonna be lonely." She said as a tear rolled down her cheeks.
"Mom." I said going over to hug her. "I'm still gonna be your baby, I'm just gonna be your baby in New York."
"I know, I know. I love you sweetheart." She said hugging me back.
"I love you too."
"Would the two of you like any desert?" Our waiter asked when he came back to our table.
"Yes I would-" My mother cut me off.
"No were good thank you." The waiter gave us our bill and walked away.
"What was that about?" I asked as she paid the bill.
"I have a surprise for you at home." She said smiling and we got into her car and drove off.
"Your surprise better consist of some type of junk-" I started as I opened the door.
"SURPRISE!!!!!" A bunch of people yelled as I walked in the door.
"Holy shit!" I yelled as I clutched my heart. "You fucker's scared the shit out of me!" I yelled and they all laughed at me.
"Sorry baby." Gee said coming over to me laughing and pulled me into a hug.
"What's this about?" I asked holding his hand as I saw everyone there.
"It's a congratulation's party for you and I, and a going away party for you and Gerard." Frankie said giving me a half hug.
My mom was there, Gerard's mom and dad and his brother, Frankie's mom, and Ray. It was small but I wouldn't have asked for anything else.
"Come on picture time." My mom sang with her camera in her hand.
"Ugh." I groaned as we all got into view of the camera. When my mom was finally satisfied with all her pictures we all had a lot of fun for the next two hours.
"Congrats Tammy." Mikey said coming to hug me.
"Thanks Mikey." I said hugging him.
"Thank about it, next year it will be you bro." Gee said.
"Yeah... I'm gonna miss you..." He said looking at his feet.
"I still come by and visit a lot." Gee said dropping my hand and putting his hands on Mikey's shoulders.
"Yeah... For her though, but now that she's leaving with you I wont see you as much." He said with a few tears threatening to spill over his eyes.
"Mikey..." Gee said pulling him into a hug.
"I'll give you two a minute." I said backing away from them and letting he brothers have there moment. I went into the kitchen to find Ray and Frankie sucking face.
"Will you guys get a fucking room!" I said covering my eyes. I heard them laugh and lowered my hand.
"Like it's not gross walking in on you and Gerard sucking face." Frankie said wrapping his army around Rays waist.
I responded by sticking my tongue out at him. By then Gee came into the kitchen with his eyes obviously red from crying. Frank saw that and pulled Ray back into the living room. Giving us our privacy.
"You okay?" I asked when they were gone. He stayed silent and looked to the ground. "Come on." I said pulling him through the back door and into the backyard. We took a seat on the bench and I pulled Gee right next to me.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"He's right." He said in a shaky voice.
"What?"
"I rarely see him anymore since I moved away."
"Gee.... We'll come by every weekend and see him. Okay?" I asked and pulled his face so he was looking at me, he had a few tears streaming down his face.
"Okay." He said and kissed me. I kissed him back and then got up and lead him inside.
We stayed for about 20 more mintues before I announced it was time for us to leave. I packed up the last of my things in his truck and got into the passenger's seat and he got into the driver's. My mom ran to the front of the car and held her camera out, Gee and I leaned in for a kiss and she took a picture of us. Then she came around to my window and told me she loved me, so did Frankie. Gee had also said his goodbyes to his family, then we drove off to New York.
