Chapter 3
"I think that's all." Gerard said zipping up the last suitcase.
"We left enough for the rest of the week?" I asked checking the ones we left.
"Yeah, I think we left clothes for you." He said laying down on my bed and I sat on my desk chair. "So tell me about your schedule for the rest of this week."
"I have two more test tomorrow, then none the day after, one on Thursday, then nothing on Friday, and on Saturday I graduate." I said smiling.
"One everyday expect Thursday then two on Friday. Can I crash here Friday night? So I don't have to drive here on Saturday."
"Yeah, come to dinner with my mom and I on Saturday." I invited.
"No that's for you guy's I don't wanna intrude, I'm already stealing you away." He said with a smirk. "Besides, I'll hang with my family. I missed Mikes."
"Ok, tell me if you change your mind. So we dont need anything from here? Like my desk or chair?" I asked joining sitting on the opposite end of the bed with him.
"Nope, it's furnished, filled with plates and dressers and a bed, sofa a T.V, were all good and ready for you to move in." He said getting up and kissing me, "So does your mom like me?"
"Why ask? You know she likes you?"
"Yeah but ever since you told her you were moving in with me she's been all like...." He trailed off.
"She's unmarried and your taking away her daughter, so that's why, but she doesn't not like you. She just wants me." I explained.
"Oh... So what time will she be home tonight?" He asked.
"Not for like," I checked my clock in the room, "4 more hours. Why?"
"Let's make her dinner or something, you know be nice and all that shit."
"Okay, but we still have 2 hours to kill before we start, what should we do till then?" I asked.
"Wanna go bug Mikey?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Hell yeah!" I yelled hoping off the bed and running over to the Way's house with Gee right behind me.
He had a extra key so he opened the door and ran in before me and threw me a pillow and grabbed one for himself, and we ran up to Mikey's room. We stopped in front of his door and mouth to each other, until we both got to 3 then we charged in and attacked him, beating him with our pillows.
"Ahhhh! What the hell guy's!?!?" He said trying to stop us from attacking him but it didn't work, we kept hitting him. I started laughing and dropped my pillow and Gee did the same thing.
"What the hell guys? I swear I cant wait till the both of you are in New York for good." He said fixing his glasses.
"Awww, Mikes dont say that! I know you love me!" I said wrapping him in a big hug.
"I cant resist!"Gee jumped in and joined us. Ge and I were laughing until we heard a familiar voice at the door.
"You guys are having a hugging fest and didn't invite me! How could you?!?!?!" Frankie yelled and jumped on all of us. "Ray come and join us!" He yelled on top of us and I saw Ray in the doorway and he ran and jumped on us.
"Cant... Breath..." Mikey breathed out, and we all got off of him.
"When did you get here Frank?" I asked sitting myself on the bed next to Gee and he draped his arm over my shoulder.
"Ray and I pulled up to your house as you and Getard were running across street and we followed."
"Shutup." Gee said flipping him off.
"So you attacked me in the process?" Mikey asked.
"Everyone else was doing it, what can I say? I give into peer pressure." Frankie said as he pecked Ray on the lips.
"You guys wanna go out tonight?" Ray asked.
"I'm in." Mikey said.
"Cant, were having a night in tonight." Gee said.
"Ohh two nights in a row, score Tammy."
"In a row? What are you guy-, you know what, I don't wanna know." Mikey said.
"No frank, were not having sex... again, were making dinner for Mrs. Read."
"God Gerard! TMI!" Mikey said covering his ears.
"SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX!!!!!!!!" Gee started yelling.
"Ugh!" He said covering his ears.
At that point Ray and Frankie were rolling over laughing and I just rolled my eyes at the boys being boys. I felt my phone buzz and I got a text from my mom, it said;
Hey sweetheart! I hope be coming home tonight I'm over at Lance's, love you! <3
"Well were free tonight." I said.
"What?" Everyone said at once.
"My mom is gonna stay over at Lance's tonight so we don't have to make dinner tonight for her."
"So you guys gonna hang with us?" Ray asked.
"Nope." Gee said.
'Why not?" Frankie asked.
"I still wanna have dinner with my girl," He turned to me, "Wanna still make dinner but invite my parents?" He asked.
"Sure." I said.
For the next two hours the 5 of us just hung out and made jokes. It was about 5pm when Ge told me the time and we decided to leave to start cooking. On our way out we ran into Mrs and Mr. Way and invited them over at 7pm.
When we got to my place we decided to make chicken and rice with a salad. I left Gee to the meat while I did the rice and salad. Things were going smoothly, we really worked as a great couple. The food was all done and we still had 20 minutes before his parents got there so I sent him to shower and he did. Lucky for me his parents got there 10 minutes early while he was still in the shower.
"Hi Donna, Donald." I said letting them into my house.
"Hi sweetheart." Donna said pulling me into a hug.
"Hello." Donald said shaking my hand.
"We brought this for tonight." He said handling me a bottle of apple cider.
"Thank you." I said taking it from him, "We weren't expecting for for 10 more minutes, Gerard is in the shower."
"Here?" Donna said.
"Yeah, I'll go tell him your here." I said as I put the bottle on the table and went upstairs. The bathroom door was unlocked and Gee was singing the the shower.

"Shit! Tammy you scared the crap out of me." He said opening up the curtain just enough for me to see his head.

"Already, ugh, let me rinse then I'm done." He said closing the curtain, "I forgot a towel, grab me one?"
"Sure." I said hoping down and leaving the bathroom. I went into the hall closet and grabbed a towel, when I turned around I say Mrs.Way.
"My God." I said clutching my heart, "You scared me." I said catching my breath.
"Sorry dear, what's the towel for?"
"Oh Gee forgot to grab one on his way in." I said, "I'll be down in a minute." Then I headed into the bathroom and set it down on the towel rack. "Here." I said leaving.
"Love you!" I heard him yell as I closed the door. I laughed and then walked downstairs.
"Sorry about that." I apologized meeting his parents.
"It's fine dear. So are you excited on graduating school?" Donna asked.
"Very." I answered. "Its weird knowing a chapter of my life is coming to an end."
"When one door closes two more open." Donald says.
"Thats true." I said, "Would you like anything to drink, I mean like beer or wine? I know my mom has some here." I offered.
"Beer please." Donald said.
"Coming right up." I said going into the kitchen and grabbing him a beer.
"So what is the other door?" Donald asked when I handed him the beer.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"When I said 'When one door closes, two more open' you agreed and I know moving in with my son is one, whats the pther?" He asked.
"Oh, I got into NYU."
"Congratulations." Donna said.
'What are we congratulating her for?" Gee asked coming downstairs with semi-wet hair.
"She got into NYU." Donna said.
"Oh yeah," He said then pulled out some plates, "Let's eat, I'm hungry."
We served the food and opned the bottle of cider the Way's brought over and had a nice dinner with his family. I love Mrs and Mr. Way and it seems like they like me. But about half way through the meal, Mrs. Way asked something that schocked both Gerard and I.
"So dear, how many grandkids can we expect?" Donna asked.
