Summary
Lilianna Rylander is sick of living in Battery City and wants out. She knows it's hit or miss out in the Zones alone, and that if she's caught by Better Living Industries, she will be publicly executed for being a Killjoy, but that's a chance she's willing to take. Just when Lilianna thinks she's going to die in the desert, she meets some life changing people that make her the happiest she's been since Better Living Industries took over. That happiness is short lived, however, when BLI threatens to take something she loves more than anything.
Will Lilianna choose the freedom of something she loves over her own? Or will she run the desert and never look back?
