Frank’s POV
At the movies, I didn’t pay any attention to the movie. I was too busy watching Katy. She cowered behind me whenever a scary part came up. I bit my lip ring to keep from smiling. She was practically on my lap by the end of the movie, I found it completely adorable, though. I payed for everything. The movie, the food afterwards. Even if she brought money, I wouldn’t have made her, or even let her pay for any of it. At the end of the night, I drove her home. She told me about what Bert did to her. One thing in particular made my skin crawl. He carved his name into her. That pissed me off. I pulled in next to the curb and sat there, watching her, as she continued talking. She said she’s scared. My anger faded slightly. I sighed and opened the car door, not knowing what to say. So instead, I walked to the passenger side and opened the door for her. I decided to change the subject, pointing out that Mikey was still here. She invited me inside, so we walked into her room. I pulled out my phone and saw 5 messages from Gerard.
From: Gee
“Dude, where are you guys? Lexi is wondering where you took her friend.”
From: Gee
“Lexi thinks you kidnapped Katy. She’s gonna kill you if anything bad happens to Katy.”
I rolled my eyes and opened the next two which were just Gerard thinking I raped and killed Katy.
From: Gee
“You better text me when you see this.”
I told Katy about Lexi and Gerard’s thoughts. She just rolled her eyes. I quickly texted Gerard back.
To: Gee
“We’re fine. I turned my phone off for a while, sorry. I’ll be back soon, I swear and tell your girl friend I wouldn’t hurt Katy.”
I sent it and shoved my phone back into my pocket.
“And to what you said earlier, you don’t have to be afraid. If one of us gets hurt it won’t be because of you, it’ll be because Bert or Jared.” I said. “We wouldn’t let anything happen to you.” She visibly tensed. I grabbed her hand to calm her down. She was still staring at her lap so I lightly squeezed her hand. “I won’t let anything happen to you.”
She looked up at me with her wide, hazel, innocent eyes. I noticed her gaze travel lower to my lips. She blushed and quickly looked at the blanket.
My phone suddenly rang. I answered it quickly. “Hey!” Gerard said sounding annoyed. I stayed quiet as he chewed me out for ditching them and taking Katy away from Lexi. “Just get over here now, please. I’m not explaining shit to Lexi anymore, Iero.” He said. I sighed and said bye. I hung up and turned back to Katy. “I need to go home.” I said quietly. She nodded “Just remember, your not alone. You have all of us now..” I said standing up. She walked me down stairs and on the porch.
“Bye.” She said quietly, staring at her black converse. I figured it’s either now or never. I lifted her chin up so I could look into her eyes. I didn’t think twice before pressing my lips to hers. After hesitation, she began kissing back. I held her face and rested my other palm on her side. She gripped my black shirt. Too soon we pulled apart for air. I pressed out foreheads together, both smiling. I glanced over her shoulder to see Pete and Mikey staring at us from the door. They noticed me watching them and Pete made a heart with his hands.
“Bye.” I said, kissing her one last time before walking to my car and driving off. When I got back to Gee’s house, I sat in the drive way until I heard a knock on the passenger window. I looked up to see Lexi glaring at me. I got out of the car and smile, walking past her. She scoffed before fallowing me inside. Gerard stood in the living room watching something on the T.V.
“What did you do with her?!” Lexi demanded. I rolled my eyes.
“I took her to a movie, the diner, then home. She’s fine.” I said calmly.
“You are you smiling then?” She asked. I looked at the ground. I heard Gerard laugh so I glanced up at him.
“You kissed her!” He yelled pointing a finger at me. My eyes instantly widened. I looked back at the ground.
“Gross.” Lexi mumbled. I rolled my eyes and went to the nearest empty bedroom to go to sleep. Fortunately, they left me alone the rest of the night. I fell into a dark, happy sleep. (A/N Frank either sleeps over with Gerard or Bob.)

Katy’s POV
I woke up the next morning, happy. Surprisingly happy. This was a first for me. I got dressed in usual skinny’s and a Misfits’ Tee. I grabbed my phone and back pack then headed down the stairs. Mikey and Pete sat at the table. When they noticed me, they stood up and followed me out the door. I sat in the back, letting the couple take the front seats. When we reached the school, I hurriedly hopped out of the vehicle and walked quickly inside of the school. I reached my locker and shoved my bag in. Someone’s arms wrapped around my waist and sat their head on my shoulder, clearly having to lean down to do this. I turned my head and smiled at the familiar, raven haired boy. He smiled back and kissed me. I don’t think I’m gonna get used to this any time soon. We jumped apart when we heard a chorus of ‘aww’s. Frank glared at Ray and Lexi. I giggled at his reaction, which made his features soften into a smile.
“Where’s Mikey?” Ray asked me.
“Probably still with Pete.” I shrugged. ray nodded then walked to Pete’s locker, Lexi followed but not before she could pull me into a hug. When the bell rang, Frank hugged me then walked to his class with promises to meet me after class.
“Ready for class?” A familiar, husky voice asked from behind me, making me jump. I turned and glared at the huge boy.
“Stop doing that.” I told him. Bob just chuckled and slung an arm around my neck.
“So you and Frankie?” He asked, ignoring my request. I rolled my eyes but smiled. “Good choice,” I giggled, “he’ll take your mind off Bert and Jared. Plus he’s a handful so I’ll need some help taking care of the little shit.” He said patting my back and continued walking. I laughed and jogged to catch up to him.
Classes went by in a boring blur, I haven’t seen Bert or Jared all day. Today actually didn’t suck, if only it could stay like this. Knowing my luck, something terrible is going to happen, either today or tomorrow. I’m not suppose to be happy so I know something will ruin my good mood. I decided to brush that thought away and enjoy the happiness. I ended up going to Gerard’s to finish the project with Lexi. Frank was still there, Mikey went to hang out with Pete again. After we finished the project, Lexi hugged me goodbye and Frank drove me home. He said he needed to talk to Bob so he couldn’t stay long. Pete and Mikey went out somewhere, so I was stuck inside the house alone. I sat inside my room listening to the music, quietly playing from my phone’s speakers.
I grew bored after hearing the 5th song. I got up and walked to the bathroom. After locking the door, I jumped into the shower. (A/N sorry, not going into details there.) I jumped out of the shower and quickly got dressed in my red and black pajama pants with a black, All Time Low T shirt. I hopped into bed even though it was only 6pm the music faded into a ring.
“Hello?” I answered.
“Me and Mikey are on our way home. I just wanted to make sure you’re there.” Pete said. I nodded, even though he couldn’t see me.

“Yeah I’m at home.” I said quietly. “I’ll see you when you get here. Bye.” I replied before hanging up. I groaned as Arms by Christina Perri sounded through my speakers. I rolled my eyes but ended up singing along because yes I am still a girl and it kind of reminded me of Frank. The song was shorter than I thought, so it ended pretty quickly and the next song came on. The man’s beautiful voice filled the room. It instantly relaxed me. I laid back down on my bed as it lulled me into a quiet sleep.
