[b]Gerard's POV[/b]

I stood there staring at the corpse of the werewolf at my feet, still holding the gun in the air as my chest rose and fell quickly. My hands shook furiously as Frank looked up at me, a mixture of fear and confusion spreading across his face.

Then gun clattered to the concrete floor as I fell to my knees, my hand clutching at my chest as it began to ache. The cool winter wind whipped around me, the metallic smell of blood filling my nose. “Y-you saved me..” Frank's voice was barely above a whisper as he stood up. I looked up at him and furrowed my eyebrows as he walked closer. He reached his hand out as if he was about to help me up before he quickly retracted it. “I-I..uhm..I” Suddenly, a bloodcurdling scream echoed off of the stone walls. “Sean!”

Frank quickly ran towards Sean and knelt down beside him. Sean let out another scream, causing Frank to jump a bit. He then pulled back Sean's shirt a bit and gasped as the werewolf bite came into view. “O-oh god. Y-you're gonna be o-okay, Sean. You hear me? S-stay with me.” Frank's voice trembled as he held Sean's head up.

“I-it hurts, F-frankie! I-it fucking burns!!” Sean screamed as he clenched his eyes shut, gritting his teeth as blood began to trail down his chin.

I pulled myself up off of the concrete ground and slowly walked over to them. Frank growled and snapped his head up towards me. “S-stay the fuck away from him.” I flinched slightly but ignored him. I could feel my heart beat against my chest furiously as I bent over and carefully picked Sean up. “W-what the fuck are you doing?” He asked as I began walking towards the house.

“I-I can help..” I mumbled as I stepped through the double doors. Sean looked in my eyes and growled lightly before he winced. A soft sob escaped his lips as he tried to take in deep breaths. “Keep breathing deep. C-close your eyes..” He continued to look at me before he complied.

“M-mom! Dad!” Frank called out frantically as he ran through the house. I quickly walked into the kitchen and carefully laid him down on the table. He let out another blood curdling scream as I pulled back his shirt, revealing the nasty wound. I then walked over to a drawer and pulled out a knife. “W-what are you doing?! Don't you fucking hurt him!” Frank screamed as he lunged at me, knocking me into the counter opposite of Sean.

His hand gripped at my wrist tightly as he knocked it against the cabinet trying to get it to fall from my grasp. “I'm trying to help him!!” Frank just growled and punched me across my already bruised jaw. The room began spinning as I stumbled slightly, my knees weakening.

“Y-you were trying to kill him! I-I saw you.” Frank said as tears began spilling over his cheeks. Growls rose up his throat but stayed there as he looked into my eyes. I could tell by just his looks that he wanted me dead. I could also see that he was grateful for saving him. He was confused.

I gulped and slowly placed my hand on his wrist. “J-just let me show you..” My voice was just above a whisper as I spoke to him. My eyes blinked furiously as the room slowly came back into focus. Frank's eyes shifted from me to Sean a few times before he suddenly let me go. He backed away until his back hit the fridge, his eyes never leaving me as I walked back over to Sean who was still writhing on the counter.

“What in the hell is going on in here?!” Mr. Iero growled as he walked into the kitchen. He looked at Sean and then to the knife in my hand before he growled even louder. “How fucking dare you-” He stopped mid sentence as Frank stepped in front of him. “Frank..what are you doing?! He's gonna -” Frank shook his head and held his hand on his chest, backing him up only slightly.

Frank then turned towards me and nodded. I held the knife up to my wrist and sliced it, careful to avoid any major arteries. I then moved my wrist so that the blood would drip down onto the wound. “I..I read that the blood of a pure human can heal w-werewolf bites..but..the venom will still take a toll o-on him.” I stumbled out as I saw that his wound was healing slowly but surely.

Sean's breathing began to regulate but he still groaned in pain and gritted his teeth. His eyes then slipped shut as his head lulled to the side. I looked behind me and saw an empty glass bottle. I quickly grabbed it and let my blood drip into the bottle, filling it up. “F-for when he wakes up..” I said as I put a cap on the bottle.

Mr. Iero looked at me, a dumbfounded expression across his face. “I..I can't believe it. A human..helping a vampire. Giving his own blood so save his life..” He shook his head and walked out of the room, motioning for me to follow him. Gabriel stood outside of the door and immediately went to Sean's side as Frank followed me out.

Once we were in the Living room, he motioned for me and Frank to sit. Soon, we were joined by Frank's mother. “What happened? Is everyone okay?..” She asked as she walked over to Frank. At first she seemed shocked that Frank and I were sitting so close together. And truth be told, so was I. “Well?!”

“W-werewolves. They..they uhm came out of nowhere. Sean and I were smoking on the patio out back when they jumped the walls. O-one of them got Sean and b-bit him.” Her eyes widened as soon as Frank said that. He continued before she could say anything. “He tried to fight it off but couldn't. B-before I could go and help him, one cornered me. T-that's..that's when Gerard..he..he saved us. He shot the wolves..and did what he did for Sean.” Frank said as he looked away from me and into his father's eyes.

I sat there, still in a state of shock from the whole situation. I shot two werewolves..[i]TWO[/i] and on top of that..I saved two vampires..the same two vampires who was about to kill me, just a few minutes ago, the cut on my chest proving just that. And what made this thing even more shocking..Frank was actually being..nice?

“Never..has a human risked its life for us..much less two of us.” Frank's dad said as he walked over to me. “You saved my son and his friend. I am eternally grateful for you, Gerard.” The then turned towards Linda. She nodded and smiled as she too stood up. “Since you have helped us..we'll help you. This time tomorrow, you'll be turned into a vampire.” My eyes widened as my jaw dropped. “You'll still be required to do things around the house..but you'll be treated differently..much differently; greater meal rations and living quarters for example.”

I opened and closed my mouth to say something..anything..but nothing came out. I wanted to tell them that the last thing I ever wanted in this world was to be turned into a vampire. I never wanted to become one of them! “C-come on, Gerard..Thank you father..mother..” Frank said as he grabbed my hand and began pulling me towards his room.

Once we were inside he shut and locked the door before turning to face me. I stood frozen in my spot with my arms at my sides as he walked over to me. His eyes never left mine as he let out a shaky breath. “W-why? Why do it? I-if the wolf would have killed me..then you would been freed. I..I don't understand. Humans never..”

“Not all humans are filth and scum like you think we are. Some of us actually care.” I said rather quickly. The moment the words left my mouth I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

He continued to look at me for a few minutes before he dropped his gaze down to the ground. The next thing that came out of his mouth surprised even me. “Get out...get the fuck out of my room now!!” I jumped as a loud growl left his lips. I quickly did what I was told and left, shutting the door behind me.

I'm getting such good feedback from this story, so i decided to post another chapter! I've got quite a few pre written so updates will come rather quickly. Also..i'm looking into possibly having a co-author with this..so if you're interested, message me and we'll talk ^_^
