Sorry, I forgot to review after I read it! Poor Mikey! My heart was racing in the opening scene. I must admit I can empathise totally. I'm so tired I've actually fallen asleep three times whilst writing this comment! And, I'm not kidding! great chapter, looking forward to more. Sas xx

I know, it's so confusing, I confuse myself when I'm writing and have to go back and rethink the entire plot a lot. It should hopefully all make sense in the end, and if I remember/don't get confused again then there should be an explanation of why Frank recognised Mikey as Curtis in the next chapter. Yep, it's kinda understandable that mikes always feels as if he's gunna get killed all the time. Haha, I can assure you at Mikey is awake and that the tasks will get even weirder. Thank ya! :)

I really like Mikey's inner dialogue and his certainty that he's going to be killed all the time, which is understandable and kind of endearing. Curious about the voice he recognises. Hmm, broken heaters and a scarf...hmm. Is he even awake??? Looking forward to the next update! Sas xo

Yep, Mikes managed to fail the first task, let's hope that it doesn't have too much of an impact later on. And yeah, JJ is a very mysterious character, he doesn't particularly like people knowing much about him. One of your questions should also be answered in the next chapter as well.

Oh dear, failed the first task! I hope he gets another go and it's not just 'that's it, failed'. Thing I can't help wondering about is why he trusts JJ. He's essentially told Mikey that if he does the 7 tasks he'll be safe but doesn't that mean that JJ is somehow involved? And why does he keep covering his ears with his beanie? Curious.

Aw, thanks. And yes, JJ is very mysterious, I know a horse called JJ (kinda where the name came from).
Oh gawd! Glad you got to fix it in time, Don't worry: I was once putting an older story I wrote on wattpad and I couldn't be bothered typing it again so i copied and pasted it across later i realised a chapter just said 'V'. ooops. :)

I think it's because there is so many other great writers on this site that can write so much better, and I read their stories and am like: wow, I wish I could write like them. And I can't write romance either. oops.
But thank you anyway for your support, I should have finished this next chapter in about 30 mins so it should be uploaded soon. :) xx

*sigh* What is it with great writers on here constantly putting themselves and their writing down? I love stories like this - mysterious, eking out details slowly! Love it. Can't wait to read more! The major downside about this site is you can't see who the author are until you click on a story. So, if only because I clicked on it, I could have missed this! Doesn't bear thinking about.
