yes. I couldn't agree more. Your description of high school frerard is perfect, and "the bet" is life. My guilty pleasure is serial killer and psychopath fanfic's (I love "someone save my soul tonight, please save my soul). If you're into really f**king twisted shit I would recommend "Not the usual kind of love" by The Blissfully Dead. But it's pretty violent, (think gore, blood, psychopath and stalker mixed together). Otherwise "this is how I disappear" by batteryXheart is also really good. Oh, I also love these three:

Sometimes it does help the story but not that often... maybe it's just me though, because there was time I almost really got into it myself, like i made several cuts and wanted more but stopped myself... idk what i was thinking, but im glad i didnt continue so yeah it might just be personal)

Thanks, and there are times where self harm compliments the story and unusually don't write about it either but *spoiler* it's coming back in the bet. I feel like it needs it there. And I love how the rant turned into an informative obsession XD

Yeah the bet is one of my favourites too) i hate writing about self harm because i dont wanna advertise it, and i made a mistake with making such a big deal out of it in my first fic
