Those stories are all cool, they make mine sound lame.... I was on Green Day radio on Pandora and I ran out of skips when 'teenagers' came on, so I was forced to listen to it, after that it just kept playing and playing until I got really into it and yeah
OH MAN I DIDNT KNOW PETE WAS PETE WENTZ THIS MAKES IT ALL THAT MORE INTERESTING HAHA <3
and I discovered MCR around the time they first released welcome to the black parade, I was maybe 11 or 12, they were playing the video on MTV and I was so fascinated by it XD at first i thought it was weird and I didn't understand it, but it gradually became a part of my childhood and then bam I started listening to their music again so here I am years later sobbing
My dad showed me because he is really into bands so he showed me the music video Helena on MTV all the time I was maby 5ish around the time the video came out and my dad told me when Helena came back to life that I would try to dance like her XD! That's the same way I found out about Fall Out Boy with the video Sugar We're Goin Down. Thanks dad!!
I discovered MCR when my grandfather had cancer and the black parade had just been released so Cancer was played on the radio and I was in school. I broke down crying. I looked every where to find out who had helped me and I couldn't find the song or the artist. I gave up. Seven years latter and I found them again. They saved my life three times.
I know mcr by 'im not okay, i promise' song from my friend 8 years ago. Because of her, i start listening to all mcr songs and until now i still have all the songs in my mp3
