REUNION RUMOURS?
I honestly have no idea what to think. I mean there's so much that screams yes but I don't want to get my hopes up. And since they all said at some point that it's better this way I really don't know
I don't know if they're getting back together but there's definitely something going on. I'm trying not to get my hopes up though.
Frank just said that they weren't get back together. People honestly need to get over it. It's done and they all have they're own shit to do now. They've moved on and they make amazing music. Now we have to move on and accept who they are now
Yeah. I agree with @frerardsbuttsex - people need to stop pestering them because its not happening. I honestly am a little bit glad they aren't getting back together because how it used to be was the best of the best and they aren't gonna get any better
Though a reunion is probable, it shan't be for years to come; they all agreed that they have no regrets in ending the band and have moved onto their own projects. The rumours
were caused by a series of unfortunate events in a brief time frame, nothing more, nothing less. I am afraid, my dears, that the chapter is done.

I'd not call a reunion "probable". Possible, as are most things, but certainly not probable.

I stand by what I said; one day they'll be a little low on cash and they'll have a ready-made back up plan to fall back onto. As horrible as it is, that's how the industry works. Popular boy band breaks up, members run low on cash, boy band reforms , money is made, now press repeat.

Sorry to tell you this hon, but they aren't a "boy band", they're an inspirational idea that has saved thousands of lives and caused millions of laughs and equally as many tears and I honestly doubt they'd be low on cash but even if they were, they still wouldn't get back together I don't think - they don't really want to and it just wouldn't be the same. But never, EVER refer to them as a "Boy Band". They aren't fucking One Direction.

I don't think it would be worth it for certain members to re-enter that part of their lives just for money. You know? And it'd take all of them being in that same state of mind. They'd all have to be doing it for the wrong reasons because otherwise, if you were going back into it because you truly wanted to, regardless of whatever your financial situation is, why would you want to if someone else was only there for the pay check?
The reason boy bands do it is because they had shitty contracts to begin with and didn't get a lot of their earnings, or because they're still essentially "owned" by their record company and are forced into it. Also... they're just "boy bands", you know? They're generally replaceable by the next no.1 hit so if they break up and get together a few years later, no one cares. Their audience has grown up, moved on. There are less fans hanging around ready to rip them a new one if their sound changes, less people it'll effect.
MCR are different. They're not a boy band, they're a rock band. They didn't do the band to make hits. They didn't do it to make money. They did it to share a vision, an idea, and they did that. It ended up making some of the members very, very miserable in the end, not being able to put their hearts into what they were doing, and so I don't believe they'd ever be happy to get back together just for money.
I think a reunion would be possible in the future but as a single show, a single performance, a single song, or something like that, maybe for charity, maybe for old times' sake. I don't believe they'll ever get the band back together and I think people need to see that that's okay. If that's the way it works best for them, then people should be happy for them. They're all doing their own things now and aren't being held back by the MCR label they made for themselves.
Although, I really didn't like Gerards album that much. Sure, the breakup was good idea for him but It completely ruined Mikey.
Now, if notice, Gerard and Frank don't play huge shows anymore. They're like, in bars and and shit. And you can find. A TON if negative reviews on Hesitant Alien, It just wasn't that good.
But, Gerard is happy and Frank doesn't seem to want to get back together. And as for Ray, he hasn't said two damn words about it.

I love MCR as much as the next guy, and they may not be as manufactured as the pop bands of today, but in the end, they are still a band comprised of attractive men aimed at a certain demographic that do especially well in one particular genre, I even if they got back not purely for the money, no doubt it would be a gargantuan factor in the grand scheme of things.
It did make them very unhappy a lot of the time, but they've all said, at one point or another, they loved being in the band, and I don't doubt that reliving some good memories with a huge cash payoff sounds bad to any of them.
