GERARDS POV
Frank turned out to be in a lot of my classes and we had decided to go to lunch together. We were standing in the line of the cafeteria. I seen Mikey walk by with two other boys, it was franks friends he and I had both seen earlier. What were the chances of that. I smiled at the thought. Frank seen me smiling.
"What's got you all happy, did that teacher walk by or something?" he said with a cheeky wink and a sly grin. He was never going to let that go.
"No, I just seen my brother walking with your friends, he must be in their classes" I replied.
"Ha, thats cool." Frank smiled looking up at me. I'de never noticed before but he had adorable eyes, for a guy that was. In fact, Frank was a quite attractive guy, wait..what was I thinking. I shook the thoughts off me and brought myself back to reality. Franks face looked confused, shit.. had he noticed.. "Yeah, that teacher was pretty hot though, eh?" I said trying hide the fact I was thinking about him.
"Yeaah, all she does is talk though, I just imagine her on mute and then she's almost the perfect woman!" he laughed. I think I was okay, just had to make sure that didn't happen again. I don't think about guys, So I wont.
Our conversation ended as we were handed over our food. "Eugh, this is vile" Frank complained. He had been handed over chicken and gravy, it looked delicious to me.
"Frank, don't be rude" i whispered, "Thank you" I told the lady who was serving us. We made our way over to a table and sat ourselves down.
"I'm not eating that, nope. I'd rather starve" Frank spat as he pushed the tray away from him in disgust.
"You're such a child, just eat it" I laughed.
"Oh, no. I really can't. I'm a vegetarian you see" he replied still looking outraged at his food.
"Ah, well that makes sense" I replied still chuckling at his behaviour. "Well, i'm still eating mine" I told him. Frank scrunched up his forehead and clenched his fist, I didnt know i'de made him that angry. "Woah, um..sorry frank I.." I was interrupted by a boy from behind me.
"Frank Iero, why aren't you with your other gay friends?" he said, two boys that were standing with him began sniggering. I sat watching frank getting angrier and angrier, now I realized I wasn't the one who had got him mad.
"I'm with Gerard, he's new here so just leave us, ok josh?" It wasn't much of a question as he filled his words with venom. I didn't like what was going on here. Josh was twice Franks size, I was surprised Frank wasn't actually scared. Not that I was scared. Josh turned and faced me. Okay, maybe now I was a little scared.
"Woah, for a minute there I thought Frank had got himself a girlfriend!" he laughed at his own words, "You're wearing more make-up than any girl i've been with anyway." His friends began laughing along with him now. I didn't say anything. "Wait, did you say you had just moved here?" he asked, waiting for me to answer.
"Yeah, I have" my words came out quiet and choked. Fuck, frank could tell I was scared. Brilliant, he's going to think i'm a coward and not talk to me again after this, I could tell.
"You wouldn't happen to have a younger brother would you?" he asked, his voice sounding serious. Shit, what had happened. Had he hurt Mikey? Fuck, I looked up at him in shock, my expression had gave him the answer he was looking for. "Yeah, well that fucking little geek gave me shit earlier, and you know what I did?" My throat went dry, scared for the answer. Frank didn't say anything but his face was now filled with concern. He didn't even know mikey but he cared.
"What." I tried to think straight, "What did you do?" I asked, my voice filled with worry.
"Nothing, I didn't do anything." He spat with anger. I had no idea where he was going with this, I glanced over at frank who too looked confused, then franks face filled with shock.

I felt myself being pulled out of my seat. "So you're going to make up for that, emo!" he shouted as he throw a punch into my stomach. I fell to the floor in pain and tried to breathe in, it hurt too much. This guy was strong. I looked up and recieved a kick to the face, "Stop!" I cried, I sounded ridiculous but I couldn't fight, I never had. I tried to pick myself up but he pushed me back down. "You like that though don't you? You like pain? You fucking em.." his words stopped as I seen Frank had punched him in the face, Josh's friends pulled Frank off but Frank still fought hard. Josh stopped what he was doing as the bell began to ring.
"I'll get you after school, don't you fucking think this is over" He said with one last kick to my face. I felt warm blood tricklng down my face and watched as he walked off. Frank helped me up and I realized the whole cafeteria had seen. Everyone was whispering. Fuck, I pushed Frank off me and ran out the door. I ran down the road and heard frank calling after me. I didn't listen, I blocked him out. My vision started to become blurred, I whiped my eyes to see and the tears fell. I sat outside my house with my head buried into my knees. Once again, I fucking hated high school.
