Chapter 28: The Lost Girls
Gerard P.O.V.
"WAIT, WHAT!" Alicia, Jamia, Venus, and Mikey screamed. We were at lunch.
"Keep it on the down low!" Irmarie hissed.
"So, Frank wasn't lying..." Jamia said.
"Oh, well, Frank beat us to it." I said.
"Aw, congratulations you guys." Alicia smiled.
"Thank you." We both said.
The whole gang saw a group of cheerleaders hang up a poster.
"What are they hanging up?" Venus asked.
"I'm a thousand percent sure it's for prom." Jamia said.
"Guys. We're Seniors." Irmarie said.
"So..." We all said.
There was a smile on her face.
"Oh! I know that smile!" Both Mikey and Frank jumped.
"You just had a brilliant idea, didn't you?" I said.
She nodded her head.
"We're Seniors. It's March. There's only two months left before school ends. And I think, we should give the teachers hell." Irmarie smirked.
"Dude, did you and Irmarie traded brains?" Mikey asked Frank.
"No! This was all on her own! Oh man, Irmarie, I am so proud of you!" Frank said and started clapping.
"Lets rally all the Seniors this Friday after school at the football field." Irmarie said.
"Dude, how are we going to rally all the Seniors when we're the 'emos' of the school." Frank said.
"Ah! But in the five second period of thinking my mind came up with a plan." Irmarie said.
"I'm going to rephrase Mikey's question: did you and Irmarie traded brains?" I asked Frank.
"No. This is all her!" Frank said.
"Come on, you guys don't believe I came up with this?" Irmarie asked.
We all shook our heads.
"Well then. That is very depressing." Irmarie said.
"Continue." We all said.
"Okay, that was creepy." Irmarie muttered. "Anyways, if we can't rally the Seniors, we have Austin and his gang." Irmarie said.
"That is an brilliant idea!" Frank said.
"So... how are we going to get Austin's attention?" Venus asked.
"Easy as pie! Give me a fry, I already ate all of mines." Irmarie sheepishly laughed.
I gave her one of my fries and she threw it at a trash can in a corner that was pretty far from our table.
"Well, I love you and all but, thank you for wasting my french fry. By the way, nice shot." I said.
"You idiot, that's how you get there attention. And thanks. Anyways, two years ago I ran into some trouble with the jocks and bitches during lunch time. So when I did, his gang helped me out. They said if I needed any help during lunch time to throw something in that trash can." Irmarie said.
"Hey Irmarie!" Austin and his friends said.
"Hey guys. We kind of need your help with something." Irmarie said.
"Okay, we're listening." Austin said and they all took a seat.
"Well, Irmarie had this idea that since we're Seniors, and this is our last two months of school, that we should give the teachers hell." Frank said.
"But we first need to rally the Seniors at the football field this Friday after school." Irmarie said.
"That's a nice plan." Phil said.
"Thanks." Irmarie said.
"Alright. We're in to help. So, Friday after school. I'll spread the word." Austin said.
"Make sure no teacher hears about it." Irmarie said.
"You got it." Austin said and they left.
I was walking down the hall, a group of cheerleaders looked at me.
I knew who these girls were. They were the sluts I used to date.
"Hey Gerard." Sabrina said and waved her pom pom.
"Uh, hey." I said and started to walk away quickly.
"What's his problem?" I heard Jasmine say.
I began to walk to my math class. I was trying to mentally prepare myself for class.
An hour later of hell, I quickly ran out and headed to my locker.
"Thank God." I muttered to myself and put my books in.
I saw Mikey and Frank running towards me.
"What the fuck?" I muttered to myself.
"Gerard!" Mikey said trying to catch his breath.
"Have you seen Irmarie?" Frank asked.
"No, why!?" I asked.
"Oh this is bad, this is really bad." Mikey said.
I was about to say something but the bell rang. "Shit." I muttered. "I'm going to skip science. I'm going to find her."
"I'm coming too!" Both Mikey and Frank said as I ran down the hallway.
"Who was the last person that saw her?" I asked.
"Venus, but she's missing too." Frank said.
"Who else is missing?" I asked.
"All the girls." Mikey said.
"You're kidding." I said.
"No." Mikey said.
"Well then. Where could they have gone?" I said.
"I have no idea." Mikey said.
"You guys don't think Giovanni did it. Do you?" Frank asked.
We stopped our tracks. "Maybe." Mikey said.
"A big maybe." I said.
"Well, way to lose the girls." Frank muttered.
"And one of them is my girlfriend." I said.
"Dude, that's the same for all of us." Mikey said.
"Okay, but I've only kissed Irmarie twice and we've been going out for about a day." I blushed.
"Okay, I guessed you kissed her at the park yesterday when you announced it to us... did you kissed her this morning?" Frank asked.
"Sure..." I said knowing they didn't know Irmarie and my family went to go visit Grandma Helena.
"Liar. When was the other time you kissed her?" Mikey said.
"How are you so sure I am lying?" I gave a laugh.
"Dude, we're brothers." Mikey said and stared at me. I knew that stare, when we were kids he will always use that stare at me if he wanted some chips or something like that.
"Fine! I am lying." I said.
"Oooh. When was the other time you kissed her?" Frank smirked.
God, we are talking about his cousin here! That made me realize, I am dating two of my best friends' cousin.
"I don't want to say." I said blushing.
"Dude, come on. We lost the girls and you could at least cheer us up a little bit by telling us when was the first time you kissed Irmarie." Mikey said.
"I don't kiss and tell." I said.
"Please. We'll keep it a secret." Frank said.
I looked at both of them. If they say so...
"Fine. About two Saturdays ago, Mikey and I went to go see our Grandma Helena. Earlier in our friendship I told Irmarie that my Grandma would love to meet her, so I invited her with us. She lives like an hour away, and I didn't want to go to Giovanni's party, so I asked if we could stay with Grandma. Anyways, Irmarie could stay with us too. In the middle of the night I couldn't sleep because of a reason." I blushed.
"Ooh! You were thinking about her, weren't you." Frank wiggled his eyebrows.
"Anyways, I heard someone playing the guitar. Me being a little bit curious, went to go see where it was coming from. I saw Irmarie singing this one song from Paramore, I don't remember the name-"
"The Only Exception. Yeah, I heard it that night too." Mikey said. "OH! Is that why she stopped playing Misguided Ghost while she was in the middle of the song!?"
"Yeah." I said.
"Wow. I didn't know that. That was two weeks ago and we are barley dating her?" Mikey said.
"Sorry. I was- I had a lot of things going in my mind." I said.
"Uh, guys. You forgot I wasn't there." Frank said.
"Right. Anyways, I sat next to her and we kind of started to talk for a little bit. I then told her to play me a random song. She then played Misguided Ghost and in the middle of the song, I kissed her." I blushed.
"Wow dude. I agree with Mikey." Frank said and slapped the back of my head.
"Ow! Hey, you guys wanted me to tell!" I said.
"But that's what you get for being stupid." Frank said.
"Okay, I deserved that." I muttered.
"Hey, maybe we should started looking at the janitors closets to look for the lost girls." Mikey said. "Just a suggestion, I mean, my girlfriend is one of them."
"Yeah, we should." Frank and I said simultaneously.
We first tried looking all the janitors closet on the first floor. None of them were open. We then tried the lockers and none of them contained the girls. We then moved on to the second floor and found the same results. The third floor was the last floor of the high school. If we don't find them here, then we will miss the rest of school looking for them.
"Okay, we should probably check the lockers first." Mikey said.
We agreed and we started checking the lockers.
I passed a janitor's closet and heard some voices that didn't belong to any one in this school. Mainly because no one here has a British accent.
I quickly ran to Frank and Mikey.
"Did you fine them?" Frank asked.
"No. Maybe. I think. But there's a British person in the janitor's closet. Is there anyone here with a British accent?" I asked.
"No." They both said and we ran to the janitor's closet.
"On three." I mouthed and started counting.
I flung the door open. We heard some gasps. Who was in the janitor's closet. Well, Irmarie, Venus, Alicia, and Jamia all sitting in front of an iPad.
"You scared the living shit out of us!" Jamia said.
"You almost made me have a heart attack!" Irmarie said.
"I wasn't expecting this." I said.
"Why are you guys in a janitor's closet on the third floor, watching Netflix on the iPad?" Frank asked.
"We are watching Doctor Who. Plus, we have study hall and Mr. Jefferson doesn't give a shit if we leave." Jamia said.
"Well, I missed science class because of you guys." I said.
"Nobody asked you to come looking for us." Irmarie sassed me.
"But we haven't seen you in like an hour." Mikey said.
"Did you forgot it's Block Day?" Alicia asked.
"Oh." We all said.
"Want to join us?" Venus asked.
"Sure, we've got nothing to lose." We all said and joined them.
"WAIT, WHAT!" Alicia, Jamia, Venus, and Mikey screamed. We were at lunch.
"Keep it on the down low!" Irmarie hissed.
"So, Frank wasn't lying..." Jamia said.
"Oh, well, Frank beat us to it." I said.
