Frank arrived in his apartment being able to hide the smile on his face he couldn't be happier with how his date with Gerard had gone, he felt they were souls of old friends reconnecting because it felt they had known each other for years, he wouldn't change it though it was rare for him to form connections with people he was dating just because it seemed they were bored o him or lied about having the same interests so conversation always lacked.But with Gereard it was endless... and it always left him wanting more ....

three moths have passed since the first date. They have gone on many others but have not made it official they are an item but Gerard has an idea of changing that, they hadn't stayed over at each others houses either there was a lack of intimacy due to Gerard past which he still needed to tell Frank about properly once he could figure out how to tell him, Their feeling kept growing but neither wanted to tell the other they were to scared it would ruin how they are.
everything was going so well Gerard felt so safe with Frank he wasn't worried about his past or that it may happen again he knew Frank wouldn't lay a finger on him which was the most reassuring part he could be himself fully and contently which is all he had ever wanted as well as feeling loved back from the person he was with but who doesn't?.

Gerard had decided that tonight was the night he would ask Frank to be his boyfriend, He was also considering about telling him how he felt about him but he was so unsure.... he knew Frank was working today while he was off but this meant he had all day to prepare for tonight he had a big plan.
First he needed to go shopping and start cooking the 3 course meal of all of Franks favourite foods
Second he needed candles , flowers and nice table decorations he wanted to make this as special as possible since Frank was extremely important to him.
Third he needed to make sure he wasn't acting weird or nervous when talking to Frank who rang every lunch break he had it was their little routine.

So he went shopping to get what he needed making sure he was home for when Frank called. He wasn't home long before he did and they had their usual half an hour conversation before he started getting everything ready for the night time Frank was coming over for what he thought was a movie night it had been arraigned for a few days now.
After getting all of the food prepped and started cooking the meat that would take 3 hours and be ready in time for the main course he started cleaning and getting everything decorated he got a new fancy table cloth which he hung over his dining table, he then got the candle holders and new candles and placed them around the vase in the middle of the table once again he had gotten black roses since Frank really liked them and put them in the vase with some water this took about 45 minuets because he wanted it to look perfect soon it was time to get showered and changed before Frank would be over after work.
Just after Gerard had finished making the starter Frank was at the door ... Gerard nervously answered it and let Frank enter his apartment.
" oh wow Gerard this looks amazing ... you made all this effort just for me?" Frank says shocked and excited when he sees the set up with lit candles... all the lights were dimmed to set the mood everything flickered in the candle light it was like a romance scene from a movie.
" uhh y-yeah i thought it would be nice to make a little effort tonight i wanted to surprise you"
he says stuttering and running his hand through his crimson hair.
" I love it Gee, this is like a dream everything looks so pretty in the candle light and i see you got black roses again .... its like our flower now" Frank says giving Gerard a quick peck.

Gerard pulls out a chair for Frank before going to the kitchen to get the starter course which consisted of lobster salad.Frank could tell Gerard was a little nervous but he thought it was because of the meal h was cooking he hadn't done this before so it was new for both of them.They chat while they have the main course and desert and Gerard thinks " its time", he takes Franks hand from across the table and looks intensely into his eyes. " there is something i want to ask you"
" what is it Gee?" Frank says concerned
" will you be my boyfriend?"
