Gerard’s POV

“Ewan, Tallulah get up now!” I shouted upstairs to my 16 year old twins.
“I’m up Jesus no need to shout it’s too early.” Ewan said as he walked down the stairs in just his shorts.
“Where’s your sister?” I asked as Ewan got himself some food and coffee.
“I don’t know where Tallie is.” Ewan said and I just rolled my eyes and I was about to go upstairs to wake Tallie up when she walked down the stairs.
“Ha, beat you too it.” Tallie said as she walked past me and I sighed loudly as I went to join them in the kitchen.
“Can I Please just have a day of peace and quiet where you two are getting into trouble at school.” I said as I had my coffee not bothering with breakfast like most mornings which the kids didn’t like all that much.
“Can’t let the family name down dad.” Ewan said and I raised my eyebrow up at him.
“I know you two have been nothing but trouble since you both started school. Just when will it all end.” I said as I looked at Ewan and Tallie who was busy talking about something Tallie found on her phone.
“Tallie no phones at the table.” I said and Tallie looked at me and then to Ewan.
“He’s a definitely a no go.” Ewan said and I rolled my eyes.
“I wouldn’t even bother finding me someone because I hardly spend time with you two let alone being with someone.” I said as I got up and put my mug in the sink as I looked down and sighed quietly.
“Yeah but you always look sad though dad. Since that cunt you’ve literally just thrown yourself into work. It’s not good for you.” Tallie said as I turned round and looked at Ewan and Tallie.
“It’s my choice okay kids, I don’t need you looking for someone for me. As for the cunt we aren’t to mention that word or his name again okay.” I said and Tallie nodded and Ewan looked unsure.
“Go and get ready for school.” I said and Ewan and Tallie both got down from the island and out their bowls and mugs in the sink and went upstairs to get ready for school.
I sighed loudly as I went upstairs to get ready for work.
Once myself and the kids was ready I dropped the kids at school and I went to work.

“Seriously, how could you forget to fucking tell me that we needed more?” I said to one of the people who worked in one of the 3 clubs I owned around the city.
“I’m sorry, but after the manic night we had last night I guess I didn’t look as hard what I should of done.” The person said and I sighed loudly as I looked to see if any of the other clubs had what we wanted.
“You are in luck Maddie, The Rouge has overstocked on it so you and a couple of others can go over there and steal some from them.” I said and you could see the relief wash over Maddie’s face.
Maddie walked out the room and left me alone to deal with everything in the office.
I thought my day was going well until I had a call from the school saying that Tallie had been kicked out of school for the rest of the week for something so I had to go and pick her up from school.

“So what was it today then?” I asked as I went to a different club.
“Refusing to take my smiley piercing and my lip ring out and apparently I have to change my hair colour because having red hair is totally going to distract other students from their work.” Tallie said.
“You do realize I pay a lot of money to send you and Ewan to that school.” I said and Tallie looked at me.
“I don’t even like that place anyway.” Tallie said and I rolled my eyes.
“I know you don’t but just think you’ve only got a few more months left and then you’ll be out of there and then you can do the stuff what you want to do without anyone telling you about your hair or the piercings.” I said and Tallie sighed loudly.
“It’s going to be a long time though.” Tallie said quietly.
“I know because I was the same and I was busy helping your mother with you and Ewan. But if you throw this all away now you will never get it back okay. You and Ewan are smart kids and you both will go far in life, but you need the grades behind you to get where you want to be.” I said as I stopped the car since we was at another club to the one I was in this morning.
“How did you cope with us and being at school?” Tallie asked and I looked at her and smiled softly.
“It was hard, but I work hard and got the grades I needed and got to where I am today.” I said and Tallie nodded as she smiled at me.
“But I wouldn’t be without you and your brother, you two keep me on my toes.” I said and Tallie chuckled softly.
“You coming with?” I asked and Tallie smiled as she got out the car and we went inside.

“Fuck off Ewan!” Tallie shouted from upstairs.
“And so it begins.” I said quietly to myself as I poured myself a glass of wine and had a mouthful as I carried on cooking dinner.
“Tallulah you bitch!” Ewan said and I sighed as I went upstairs to see what the problem was and I found Ewan and Tallie fighting over something.
“I thought the whole point of having a girl and a boy is that I wouldn’t have this happening every bloody day.” I said as Ewan looking at me so Tallie took advantage and smacked Ewan right in the face with his pillow.
“Well you and I both know she ain’t no lady.” Ewan said and this time Tallie pretty much gave him a nipple cripple.
“Hey both of you pack it in! Ewan get on with you homework and Tallulah leave your brother alone.” I said seriously and Tallie got off Ewan’s bed and walked out the room as she stuck her middle finger up at Ewan.
“Thanks dad.” Ewan said and I chuckled as I walked out his room and went back downstairs.

I was just finishing tidying the kitchen after we had eaten when I heard my phone go off and I groaned quietly as I was looking forward to sitting down with Ewan and Tallie to watch a film but I guess it won’t be happening.
“It’s Julie.” Ewan said as he handed my phone and I frowned as I answered the phone.
“Please say nobody has died.” I said and Julie chuckled.
“Nope, but we do have a problem down here though. Some homeless dude has found his way inside and was upsetting some people in the club.” Julie said and I rolled my eyes.
“Why can’t you deal with him?” I asked and Julie sighed.
“He’s not listening to anyone, since you have the twins and their buggers I thought maybe he may listen to you.” Julie said.
“Just because my two are buggers don’t mean they actually listen to me.” I said.
“I’ll be there in 15 minutes.” I said as I hung up and groaned loudly as I walked into the sitting room.
“So some shit went down at one of the clubs and I have to go and sort it out.” I said and Ewan smiled at me since Tallie had gone outside probably to have a cigarette.
“It’s fine dad, you won’t be too long will you?” Ewan said and I smiled at him as I kissed the top of his head.
“Hopefully I won’t be long, you two can start your movie marathon without me. Also tell that sister of yours to not smoke all my cigarettes.” I said and Ewan nodded as he went onto Netflix and he got up and went outside to hurry Tallie along.
I nodded to myself knowing that they both would be okay and I went to the club.

I walked to the back to find Julie stood by my office.
“So what happened?” I asked as I looked into my office and found the man wondering around my office.
“Caught him trying to steal booze and I asked him to leave and he just kicked off. I think he’s homeless and gets up to no good if you get what I mean.” Julie said and I nodded.
“Thanks Julie, I’ll take it from here.” I said as I walked into the office which made the man jump as I shut the door behind me.
“I hear you tried to steal some alcohol from me.” I said as I walked across the room and lent against my desk which made the man scoff.
“So what if I did, not as your the big man off this place.” The man said attitude rolling off him.
“Sadly for you I am the big man off this place and I don’t take it too kindly that you think you have the right to steal from me.” I said and the man looked at me.
“Please it’s not as if you don’t have the money to replace the shit I was going to steal.” The man said.
“Maybe So But it doesn’t give you the right to walk in here upset my customers and steal alcohol.” I said and the man looked at me and you could tell he was living rough and probably sold himself.
“Find something you like sugar? Because if so I can give it too you.” The man said as he walked over to me.
“No I don’t find anything I like.” I said seriously and the man stopped walking.
“So tell me how you managed to get into this club, not as if anyone can walk into here.” I said as I stood up and walked round my desk and picked up the bottle of whiskey and a couple of glasses and poured myself and the man some whiskey and handed him the glass which he took.
The man didn’t answer my question so I looked at him again.
“Well, are you going to answer my question or am I going to have to call the police.” I said more seriously and the man looked at me.
“Please don’t call the cops. I was with someone and they walked off somewhere and left me alone so I thought fuck it I’ll try and get myself some alcohol.” The man said and I nodded slightly.
“And upsetting the customers?” I asked and the man sighed.
“Look all I did was mouth off to the posh tart who brought me here. That’s all I did so don’t worry I didn’t upset you darling customers too much.” The man said as he had a mouthful of the whiskey.
“And your date? Where did they go?” I asked and the man frowned at me.
“You think I don’t know a person who sells themselves.” I said and the man sighed.
“I don’t fucking know where they went.” The man said as he downed the rest of his drink and walked over to the desk and put the glass on the desk.
“Now am I in the shit or am I allowed to go?” The man asked as he looked at me.
“You can go but if I find you have come back here or any of my other clubs then I’ll get the police involved.” I said and the man nodded as he turned round and walked out the room and I couldn’t help but check his ass out a little.
The man shut the door behind him and I sighed loudly as I looked at the time and smiled to myself as I saw I still had enough time to go home and watch a film with the kids and that was what I did.

I walked into the house and locked the door behind me and went to the sitting room where I found both Ewan and Tallie asleep on the sofa.
I quietly walked round the sofa and picked the blanket up and put it over Tallie and then I got the other blanket and put the over Ewan.
I must of woken Ewan up a little as he opened his eyes and looked at me.
“Go back to sleep.” I whispered and Ewan nodded as he got himself comfy again and went back to sleep.
I turned the lamp off but put something else on the tv and left that on before I went upstairs and went to my room.

I went straight to the bathroom and striped from my clothes and got in the shower and just washed this hell of a day off me and once I was finished and dried myself off and wrapped the towel around me where I put some trackies on and just climbed into bed and passed out.
