They Could Care Less As Long As Someone'll Bleed

I threw my jacket and favorite MCR bag on my bed and walked to my dresser. I started pushing it in front of my door so my so called 'parents' couldn't get in. They would probably think I was just upset and ignore me for a week.

After getting my dresser there I picked up the bag and put some things I need in (ex: my favorite clothes, my make-up, sketch stuff, music ect.). I grabbed a hoddie and took my two matresses that just lie on top Of eachother in rhe floor and put them in front of th door too.

I shoved my headphones in my ear and jumped out the window. "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" came on and I sung along under my breath.

I still walked to my friend Rain's apartment, but now for a different reason. When I got there Rain let me right up and I just stood at the door to tell her.

"Rain," I sighed, "I'm not happy. I-I can't continue with my crappy life like this.."

"What are you saying, Skye? Whatever you do don't hurt yourself

"Well, that's what I had planned to kill myslef but I found some Gerard Way quotes and they helped me..." I paused and she looked at me curiously and worriedly. "I've learned the only person who will love and care and understand me is Gerard."

"I care about you. And so does Keola," she insisted.

"I'm going to find him, Ri. Don't come after me and don't look for me. You won't find me. The next time you see me I'll be by Gerard's side," I grinned and walked away.

"Skye wait!" she called.

"Dont follow me, Ri. I'll bs back eventually."

Rain's P.O.V.

"Don't follow me, Ri. I'll be back eventually," she said and I stopped. She can't be serious.

If she's not at school tomorrow I'll tell her parents. Knowing her she came up with some reason for them not to worry about her not being there so she could get further away. I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge and grabbed a soda. I closed the frige and popped open the top as I read the reminders for this week. I nearly chocked on my soda when I noticed it was Friday.

"Shit," I said pulling out my phone.

"S'up sissy?" my brother, Dylan, asked wile walking in.

"My friend." I started scrolling through my contacts but dropped my phone on the counter when I remember Skye didn't have one. "Damn it!" I ran out the door.

"Rain, what's wrong?" Dylan called, following me and grabbing my phone.

"Skye! She's gonna run away!" I called. He stopped following me and I ran down the street.

I got to the corner and looked both ways to cross when Dylan pulled up beside me.

"Get in the car." I hopped in and put on my seat belt as Dylan kept going. "Where do you think she would be?"

"I don't know. Skye said she was going to find Gerard Way because he would accept her and no one else would."

"Well where does Gerard Way live?"

"Los Angelas."

"So you would have to take the freeway," he thought out loud and turned towards the freeway.

"She's on foot." he nodded and turned towards the bus station.

A few hours later we had searched everywhere and it was dark outside.

"Ri, I'm sorry but it's almost pitch black out here. We're not gonna find her," my brother said.

"You're right. We'll just have to tell her parents."

"Tomorrow." he said. "It's almost 10 o'clock."

I sighed and we headed home. Tomorrow we'll tell her parents and the police and we'll find her.

Skylar's P.O.V. ****the next day****

Last night I rode the bus over to the next town and spent the night in the park. I just had to get out of there or Rain would have come after me and found me.

Today I'll have to come up with a plan on how to get to L.A. I already got out of Houston and into Austin so I'm closer. (I know I said town but hey town city. People live there what's the difference?)

I walked from the bus station to the airport. I picked a car in the long term parking and searched all around it. A lot of people will put their keys in the gas cap or under the tire if someone else is gonna pick it up.

Found them in the gas cap. I smirked to myself. Sorry stupid people but I need to get to LA.
