Chapter 3
This sleeping position is highly uncomfortable because I feel the need to move or switch how I lay. I tend to flip and toss. It's still a bit dark in the room except what little light comes through my the curtains and I realize why I'm feeling uncomfortable; Gerard's arm is wrapped around me which is restricting me from moving without waking him. I let out a sigh and reach for my phone on the nightstand,9:42. I actually have work to do today as much as I don't want to even get out of my bed, and no it is not because I have THE Gerard Way in my bed because his hand is literally halfway up my shirt.
I'm surprised Hikaru is still asleep. He would have come into the room yelling wake up by now.
Gerard mumbles something then shifts, moving his hand with him. On the other hand my head is on his other arm like a pillow. Man his arm must be dead by now. And a face full of hair. How can guys sleep behind a girl like this?
I freeze from moving once more as Gerard slowly lifts his head;looking at the window and observing his surroundings. He must be wondering why he's in an unfamiliar bedroom and not his own. He rubbed his eyes and while I quietly stared at him.
"You stayed here after we watched a movie yesterday" I said.
"Oh, that explains that then, but why was my hand up your shirt?" He said in,if I do say so myself, a very sexy morning voice before he flops down onto his back and looks at the ceiling.
"I dunno you tell me, I'm not your hand." I sat up and adjusted my shirt.
I heard a TV going off and footsteps down the hallway before I could even let my feet touch the floor to stand and check on Hikaru. As I suspected seconds later my brother bursts through the door yelling that we are finally awake. I just don't understand how he can wake up this early at his own will.
I decided to make breakfast for all of us;Pancakes. Which was not an easy task when Gerard kept and dashing my face with the liquid pancake mix in which he proceed to lick off my face.Once done we ate and I had a shower. Today just feels like one of those days where you want to do nothing at all or a least what you're not supposed to do; like showing up to work.
Once out of the shower I hadn't remembered to bring my clothes into the bathroom. Which meant I had to cross the living room from the where the bathroom was to get to my room....also meaning I'd be crossing Gerard's line of sight....while I'm in nothing but a towel...Some people wouldn't think of it as such a big deal.
I make sure I had my towel wrapped surely around me before poking my head out the bathroom door to see if either of them were there. The coast was clear, I started for a mad dash to my room. Warning Hikaru and Gerard at the table that I was coming going through; always looking at the floor and not in their eyes.
"GEE COVER YOUR EYES!!" Hikaru yells and for a brief moment I look up over to him and Gerard isn't at the table like I thought. Hikaru had pointed to my side. I ran into something which caused me to topple over;taking it down as well.
"I said god damn" Gerard chuckled as he looked down at me. I had ran into him and landed on the floor with Gerard on top of me. I checked; I was indeed still completely covered by my towel. My hair sticking to my face and neck.
Gerard winked then rolled off of me and I ran for my room. Talk about adding coal to the awkward fire today.
Once dressed I walked out to the living room. Gerard had just hung up his phone.
"Do you like Amusement Parks?" He asked while Hikaru was bouncing with excitement behind him with a mischievous smile on his face.
"I'm afraid of Roller Coasters...." Hikaru's face fell like 'Oh...yeah' when he remembered I never liked Amusement Parks.
"We'll, we are going to change that today." Gerard said. "We're going to play Hooky and not show up for any work related things. Ray decided to be the goody-two shoes and not go. So it's just going to be us three plus Frank and Mikey"
If it meant not showing up for work then I'm down for it.
I went back and changed into something that will be more warm since we will be walking outside today. Who goes to the amusement park in the winter? Sounds interesting.
Once done, Gerard insisted on driving since I have no idea on how to get there.
Turns out it was only an hour away and to my surprise it wasn't packed like usual. We found a parking spot then walked to the front gates/ticket area. We payed for a daypass but I doubt we could be here all day.
Hikaru literally wanted to go on all of the rides(the Kiddy ones obviously).
We were in line and up next. The worker stops me and actually has to measure my height. I'm too short to ride this thing with Hikaru....
"That's ok, Gee can ride with me!" He said and out stretches his hand for Gerard to follow him. It was quite funny seeing Gerard smushed into a tiny ride car. Knees to chest and hands arms wrapped around his legs. Hikaru was just having the time of his life.
We reached the regular sized Roller Coasters and met up with Frank and Mikey to get something to eat. Park food is expensive man.
We walked around the park going on different rides.Me and Gerard hand-in-hand. A few fans came up to the three from My Chem to take pictures and sign park tickets.They did indeed ask if I would be in the pictures too, but if they didn't know who I am and they show someone the picture then they ask who is that (me) I might be that random creepy photo bomber. Opps. If I can remember, one guy came up and noticed who I was just by talking and wanted to start a conversation; Gerard was glaring at him the whole time.
"WE ARE NOT GOING ON THAT" I squealed as Frank pointed to the rode called 'The Rattler' which in my opinion was HUGE. It was maybe one of the only wooden or semi-wooden rides left in the park.
"Come on don't be such a baby. All it does is go in a big circle" Frank explains.
"That's all it does?"
"Yeah,sure. Just a circle."
"Fine"
"Yes!" He does a double fist in the air gesture.
The line went by fast. My heart was pounding. Gerard gave a reassuring smile before I could chicken out.
"All riders please keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times. Make sure your restraints are tied securely before we start. If not one of the attendants can help you." Someone said over the intercoms. Lucky I was seated never to Gerard incase I freak out.
"We will now begin the ride. All non passengers off the platform at this time"
The brakes screech and we jerk forward before moving out of the boarding tunnel.
The car reaches the top of the slope and sweet baby infant Jesus I'm to kill Frank when we get off this death trap!
"That thing do NOT go in a fucking circle. You little shit!" I screamed at Frank once we were being unlocked from the chair and back on the platform. Frank made a run for it. I would've chased after him but I felt dizzy when I stepped out of the car.
Gerard offered a piggyback ride to the car. I ended up falling asleep in the car as well.
"Hey, Mariko wake up were here."
I slowly got out of the car and carry Hikaru to the apartment. I put him in his room before going back to the kitchen to say goodbye to Gerard.
"Hey" I said;rubbing my eyes.
"Hey, did you have fun?"
"Yes actually. I did" I leaned against the counter.
"Good I'm glad you did. And I'm glad Hikaru did too." He goofily smiles."What else were you planing on doing for Hikaru again?"
"What do you mean?
"You said you wanted to do all these things with your brother before he goes to the hospital full time next month. I thought the amusement park could be one of those things. I want to help you take him to do those things."
"Is that what this today was for?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Well technically yeah."
The point of me wanting to do these things with Hikaru was so that I could spend as much one on one time with him. Me and him. Not Me and Him plus one. And it makes me kind of upset.
"Well I don't want you to" I blurt out.
Gerard is taken aback by my outburst in the moment of silence we had while I thought. "I just want to help yo-"
"This was between me and my brother, I don't want nor I need you to help me make him happy before he dies. I made a promise to my parents. And since they aren't here anymore I'm going to make sure he's happy. I told you I wanted to have this time alone"
"Look all I wanted was to help, if you don't want me to I won't" He says back.
I stare down at the floor;arms still crossed. I really do appreciate he wants to help.
"I think you should go now"
"What?"
"I'll um, talk you later today."
Gerard says nothing but walks to the door of the kitchen. "Ok,I'll go...but I need to try this, or I'm gonna lose my mind!" He said quickly before he rushed back and crashed his lips down on mine. I froze as he started to move his lips against mine and he kept at it, hoping to get a response from me, but I felt like I went to another place, my eyes almost glazed over as I stared at something over his shoulder. He kissed me softly, like he didn't want to hurt me as I wasn't even trying to push him away. He'd just shocked me; I hadn't been expecting it.
"Please?" He whispered against my lips.
Gerard let go of my shoulders and gently ran his fingertips down my arms, and he
laced his fingers with mine. Gerard pressed his lips down on mine again, softly kissing my unmoving lips. Why wasn't I kissing him back? I definitely wanted to,so bad. But what was stopping me.I started kissing him back letting my lips part under Gerard's.
"Who am I kidding?" I questioned before crashing my lips to his this time as we leaned up against the edge of counter,I pulled him closer."Gerard,-"I started before he kissed me again as he smiled a wicked smile. I laughed against the kiss as he pushed me up onto the counter, my feet dangling over.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know." Was the only thing he said before leaving.

Sorry for the late update. I've been feeling sick for a while and have been going to Dr. appointments a lot. Also working on other things. I'm staying at my dads house this month.My step-dad is now pretty much a fan of MCR thanks to me! ^-^
He was playing his video game, and I was on my iPad with this Piano app and I taught myself the piano intro the Welcome to the Black Parade by ear. Mind you I don't know how the hell to play piano. I'm a Cello/Viola player; never played piano before. So you know he's like sitting there playing his game and he just starts to belt out singing Welcome to the Black Parade.
